    Fun for the kids

by Bill on 11/30/21Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

Albeit Temple football and they lost (as excepted), still a fun time and nice introduction to what college football looks like for our children. Reasonable price, easy and safe transaction

    Great day at Temple

    by S. M. on 9/17/19Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

It was great to see the temple owls play maryland. Coming from the UK, you're not gonna witness the passion that's in the temple fans and college football fans in general by watching it on TV. These people really want to win! Great stadium, easy access from the subway (NRG station). A worthwhile visit

Temple Football games are great. Fifty yard line seats for $30. Play at Eagles stadium without the crowds and traffic. Recommend for anyone who likes football and fun atmosphere!

    Game was Disappointing

by Bub123456789 on 9/4/18Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

Linc was nice, easy in and out, Temple does a great job with the pregame. Still very expensive to attend ANY events at the Linc. Parking is better for college games than the Eagles, only $20 to park vs $40 for Eagles. Pricing in stadium is a disgrace. Tickets were reasonably priced, paid $60 for 3 tickets in section 128 but the paid an ADDITIONAL $27 in fees, thats also a disgrace!

    GREAT OUTTING

by SCHOOLBOYROWE on 10/17/17Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

My son and i came up from Delaware to attend, our first time at the Link. The Temple community was awesome. They were giving away cake and treats, hamburgers and all types of good food. The Temple band was fantastic, especially the pre-game outside the stadium. Folks walking around in different garb and costumes. It was truely an enjoyable event.

by SA66 on 11/29/16Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

Great seats!! Game started out like a house on fire!! Both teams scored on their opening drives...then it slowed down till half. Temple took over the second half and the final was 30-10

Second Half Aggressiveness Brings Temple Victory

by TLHSR on 11/1/16Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

The first half was a defensive battle by both teams even though Temple showed signs of being able to move the ball at will if they could eliminate some sloppy errors. Aggressive play calling and execution dominated the second half for the Owls bring them their sixth victory and making them eligible for a Bowl Game for their second straight season! I was fortunate to attend this game with my son, a sophomore at Temple, and we enjoyed a great game and some valuable family time on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October!

The Linc is great for football

by LoveDoobies on 11/24/15Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

Veterans Stadium was a child of 1970s thinking; specifically, that a city could have one stadium for both baseball and football. The general result was a stadium that didn't work for either sport. Thus, Philly (and many other cities) built one stadium for each sport; for the Philadelphia Eagles, this was "the Linc." This stadium can hold over 69,000 fans, but this game had about one-third that amount. Thus, good seats were available for not a lot of money, and lines were generally short at both bathrooms & concessions. It is also close to a subway terminus; and riding mass transit is DEFINITELY recommended when attending events at this area. Visibility and audio is good in all seats. Big screen video monitors were visible and useful throughout the stadium. Security is (sadly) pretty tight -- you absolutely can NOT bring any opaque carriers into the stadium, and that most definitely includes purses. We used gallon-sized clear plastic bags for our stuff, and it worked fine. No surprise on two counts: outside food is strictly prohibited, and food at stand is WAY over-priced. I mean, $5 for a hot dog?!? It was cold in the stadium, but what do you expect for a football game in November?
