Veterans Stadium was a child of 1970s thinking; specifically, that a city could have one stadium for both baseball and football. The general result was a stadium that didn't work for either sport. Thus, Philly (and many other cities) built one stadium for each sport; for the Philadelphia Eagles, this was "the Linc."
This stadium can hold over 69,000 fans, but this game had about one-third that amount. Thus, good seats were available for not a lot of money, and lines were generally short at both bathrooms & concessions. It is also close to a subway terminus; and riding mass transit is DEFINITELY recommended when attending events at this area.
Visibility and audio is good in all seats. Big screen video monitors were visible and useful throughout the stadium. Security is (sadly) pretty tight -- you absolutely can NOT bring any opaque carriers into the stadium, and that most definitely includes purses. We used gallon-sized clear plastic bags for our stuff, and it worked fine.
No surprise on two counts: outside food is strictly prohibited, and food at stand is WAY over-priced. I mean, $5 for a hot dog?!?
It was cold in the stadium, but what do you expect for a football game in November?
