    Teenage Fanclub- Best Underrated Band

by Sunny on 5/20/24Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I recently fell in love with this band last year and decided to see them both nights and so glad I did. They not only played a 21 song set each night but switched out NINE of the songs each night & moved songs in different order to keep it fresh. This solidified my love for this band! The joy and happiness in that room was palpable. 15/10! PS Shout out also to the great venue Teragram and staff. I have yet to meet a happier and fun team especially the security team. Loved chatting with them!

    A fantastic show

by JC on 5/20/24Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

One of those rare treats where you get to experience a band that is so cool and part of what was and still a niche scene and genre, being experienced by all ages; by younger music enthusiasts with taste for high art and things not spoon-fed to you by corporations.

    Never Disappoint

by TK on 5/11/24Ophelia's Electric Soapbox - Denver

Still going strong after 34 years, TF never disappoint with their performance or sound. It had been 5 years since they came to Denver (Bluebird last time in 2019). While the band is a different dynamic without longtime bassist (Gerry), the band has adjusted and morphed into their own identity. The show spanned their entire catalog. This was my first time seeing a show at Ophelia’s and I have to say that it won’t be my last. Intimate with a good beer selection and clean, lush sound.

Great show!! Venue didn’t indicate that it was such an early show and I missed some of the headliner 😑

    Short but sweet

by Mrc on 4/29/249:30 CLUB - Washington

Loved seeing this band who I’ve followed since the nineties. Wish they had performed a little longer. 90-minutes was far too short.

The Good, The Bad and The Muddy

by Roxy Fan on 2/25/19Neptune Theatre - Seattle

First off, let me say that I am a longtime Teenage Fanclub fan. I remember buying a copy of Bandwagonesque on cassette tape! I love these guys and I took my son, 24, to see this show, just as I took him to see there last show at the Neptune. The show was maybe half-filled which made me sad; these guys are legendary and deserve so much more! That said, it was very bittersweet to see them without Gerard Love on bass and vocals. I love Norman and Raymond but I do miss Gerry! It was great to see Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard join the band for The Concept and Everything Flows but... the sound mix was pretty muddy and it was hard to distinguish the vocals at times (plus Norman was still recovering from a cold, I believe). I know, I’m probably nitpicking but...

they've been doing this for thirty years so they're good at it. the newer material benefited from being played live, the older stuff was still great. there aren't a lot of bands this good for this long still playing

    Great Harmonies

    by Podman386 on 3/27/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Men of a "certain age" they rocked it, and the vocal harmonies were sublime. Seattle crowd loved these Scotsmen!

Teenage Fanclub: The best rock band in the world

by DejaDoh on 3/26/17Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

There are only a handful of acts that have stayed together are are better today than they were 28 years ago. Other than The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and a few others, who else can belt out 100 plus singable songs? TFC! Great show.

    They've still got it!

by OccamsShaver on 10/26/16The Sinclair - Cambridge

Great show! It was my first time seeing them. Great melodies and harmonies. Not a lead guitar note wasted.
