One of hip-hop's most technically advanced wordsmiths, Tech N9ne's performances speed by with the explosive energy of a rock show and the high-velocity feats of an athletic event. Playing dozens of shows every year, Tech N9ne is one of rap's hardest-working live acts.
In 2017 and 2018 alone, he embarked on the Strictly Strange tour, the Strange Reign tour, the Planet tour, and the Independent Grind tour, taking his Strange Music labelmates and more across the country for displays of rap virtuosity.
Tech is at home at hip-hop festivals like Rock the Bells, Soundset, and Gathering of the Juggalos, as well as rock festivals like Rock on the Range, Rocklahoma, and Knotfest. With N9NA, his 21st album in a storied career, Tech N9ne is once again hitting the road with the It Goes Up tour.

Aaron Yates — better known as rapper Tech N9ne — is one of the most successful independent hip-hop acts in the world. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Yates absorbed an eclectic mix of influences: the gospel played by a churchgoing mother, the rock loved by his uncles, and the emerging waves of confrontational hip-hop by acts like Public Enemy and N.W.A.
Dubbed "Tech N9ne" due to his rapid-fire flow, Yates was an early technician of the high-velocity Midwest style known as "chopper rap." He captured the attention of multiple record labels throughout the 1990s, appearing on the soundtrack to a 1997 film, Gang Related, and Sway & King Tech's 1999 album This or That.
Tech N9ne's breakthrough came nearly a decade into the game when he co-founded his own label, Strange Music, in 1999. He's released 19 of his 21 albums on Strange, eventually breaking the record for most Top 10 appearances on Billboard's Rap Albums chart.
Tech had Top 5 debuts with releases like 2011's All 6's and 7's, 2013's Something Else, and 2015's Special Effects. In those albums, his genre-crossing style and jaw-dropping abilities found him working with superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Lil Wayne, The Doors, Serj Tankian of System of a Down, and Corey Taylor of Slipknot.
In 2015, Tech N9ne had a crossover hit with "Hood Go Crazy," featuring B.o.B. and 2 Chainz. His core audience has always been a passionate following of underground rap fans who see him command crowds at one of his many headlining tours.

I was unable to go to the show because I got sick. I am very disappointed with Ticketmaster for not allowing ticket resale for this event. It was a sold out show and I know someone would have appreciated being able to go see such amazing bands.
I have been to a lot of shows. This experience was amazing. I hurt my back three weeks prior to the show and needed a walker. I had floor tickets wasn't really thinking about needing to switch to an ADA ticket. The staff saw the predicament I was in and without hesitation made arrangements for me to be safely seated next to the pit to the left of stage.. Best experience I've had both with the show and staff. Everyone made me feel comfortable and safe.

To be honest I really only went for Hollywood Undead. The person I went with really enjoyed tech nine so I stayed too. Even with it being not my type of music, he put on a great show! I loved the theatrics!
Absolutely phenomenal. The crowd was extremely nice and welcoming. King Iso, Hollywood Undead, and Tech N9ne absolutely killed it. Their performances were some of the most energetic and exhilarating I've ever seen. 10/10
Don't like being this guy. But since you asked and I'd like to be honest, this may be the last time I go to this venue. The show itself was decent for the most part, though I mainly went for Hollywood Undead. The staff at the Tabernacle were not the friendliest, (mind you not all of them by any means). And it has been a good decade since I've been, but the experience of how abrasive some of the staff (mainly outside with one of the wristband guys and another woman pushing us along the line when there wasn't much of one) were enough to sour the night. I'd see the artists again, but probably not at the Tabernacle. Hope they turn it around with the customer service.
Tech is a genius. First time seeing him and he was awesome. Super interactive with the crowd and wicked energetic. Love him and his music. Will see him again, probably doing a meet & greet. STRANGEEE!!
Tech nine was absolutely amazing!!! I’ve always loved his music and he knows how to put on a live show!! The venue was super packed but it was a pretty nice place , easy to see the stage from wherever we stood! I would love to see tech again for sure!!!

Tech N9ne's performance was great! Wasn't a big fan of the venue just because of the attitudes of the locals and there seemed to be a lot of fights breaking out but security had a good hands on everything. For the show, we left happy. I was a bit shocked that Tech N9ne opened for Hollywood Undead but we didn't stay for the entire set. Tech N9ne did around 25 songs and we left after about 3-4 Hollywood Undead songs. But if you ever go down to this venue check out Cheech Marin's art exhibit next door. Was pretty cool.
The concert was awesome and it was my first time at this venue and I really liked it. Sound was good the old look of the Riverside Municipal Auditorium is really nice I would definitely go back for another concert or show there.
honestly one of the smoothest concert experiences i’ve had so far. parked directly across the street from the venue for 3$ ( what a steal) got in line and was told about the fast pass 10$ each and we decided to go for it, went to the fast pass line got inside and was able to get merch pretty quickly and run the the rest room before getting to our area and being in the first like 5 rows of the crowd. now the crowd was the only annoying part, i had several drinks spilled on me because of ppl getting rowdy which is not the venues fault but wow can we be a little more aware of the ppl standing beside us? besides having 3 separate drinks spillled on me i had a wonderful time. i did however feel like it was hard to hear tech nine and king iso, but once hollywood undead came on we could hear their vocals perfectly

I left right after Hollywood undead there where no seating and my ticket did say section 3 on it so was thinking there will be seating which would made things easier so I didn't have people coming from the back and getting right in front of me to where I couldn't see
I had the best time ever! The concert experience was incredible. The music, the flashy lights, the artists voices, the audience having a blast. The only think I wish was better was for VIP to get our merc handed out before everyone else came inside. I paid for early access to just stand in line inside. When I could have had my merc and chilled in the performance area with a drink.
Tech always puts on a amazing show. This time when he came into the crowd was right by me and that was a new experience. Always have a blast and never disappointed.
