About

Tate McRae is a pop singer from Calgary, Alberta. After initially finding the spotlight at 13 as the first-ever Canadian finalist on So You Think You Can Dance, the multi-talented teen went viral on YouTube and TikTok with her independent single “One Day” and signed with RCA Records in 2019. McRae’s debut EP, All the Things I Never Said, followed in early 2020, and months later she notched her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with “You Broke Me First.” The teen sensation released her debut full-length, I Used to Think I Could Fly, in the spring of 2022 after a string of collaborations with Troye Sivan and Regard (“You”), Blackbear (“U Love U”), Khalid (“Working”) and more. McRae’s sophomore album, Think Later, followed in December 2023 in the wake of its lead single “Greedy” becoming her first Top 10 hit.

The North American leg of Tate McRae’s Think Later World Tour starts with a “special hometown show” in Calgary, Alberta on July 5, 2024. The venue for the show in Alberta has not yet been announced.

    She sang good live but you could tell her voice was fatigued from being on tour so long. The stage set up was ok…not super exciting but still somewhat entertaining. No costume changes or surprises. We were disappointed that she didn’t have backup dancers like she did on other tour stops. Her opener, Charlie onna Friday sang along to a track. After the show a large number of fans waited outside the barricades to catch a glimpse of her walking to her tour bus, we stood out there for almost 2 hours in the rain before we gave up. The crew could have communicated for everyone to go home instead of leading us to believe she would be out soon. It made us feel like she doesn’t care about her fans.

    She was really good at singing and had no auto tune very pretty and the service was good at Merchbar but when they told me I can’t buy anything anymore because I left those doors when it states in the book that if you leave the property you can’t come back in so… 4 out of 5

    She barely sang??? And when she did, you could barely hear it. They played the general vocal track in the background the entire time, like exactly what you hear when you stream her music. I know she can sing, and that’s what I came to experience, but instead I got some girl on stage prancing around like in those horse competitions without horses (you know the popular, weird videos on YouTube).

    Don’t advertise the show to begin at 6:00pm and have the awful openers do their thing at 7:30pm, and have to wait another hour for the actual reason you’re there to appear on stage 🥴

    I had the absolute BEST TIME at Tate. I bought GA tickets a week before and it was a core memory. After the show, Tate came up and hugged me! It was truly a life altering moment lol. Anyways, I encourage you all, buy the ticket!!!! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!!
