NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Long lines and expensive.

Easy entrance, then the wine vendors were okay a little pricey I'm not sure if they were there to make money or increase their customer base. As for the food the lines were very long and the selection was slim considering this was a culinary event we were not impressed with the food at all. The refund process is another story. If people came from othe provinces or countries to "The Taste of Toronto " they would think that our city does not have much to offer. After this event we ended up at McDonald's which I eat probably 4 times a year. Sorry but not impressed.

The food was fantastic, the venue had nice atmosphere, and the day was beautiful for spending outside at a food event. Only note for those attending in the future. The portions for the amount paid are delicious, but small. It is the perfect portion to allow you to try a wide variety of items and not fill up at one location, but it means you need to come prepared to spend a decent amount of cash to try a wide variety of items. We used only the $30 or 30 crowns that came with our American Express package for the two of us and found in the future we'll be budgeting $50 for the two of us to allow us to try a wider variety of items, as $30 really only allowed us to budget for 2 items each with a few crowns left for snacks. The American Express lounge was very convenient and useful, would recommend taking advantage of this if you are able. Very convenient and comfortable place to sit and eat your treats and take in the atmosphere.

Lots of food samples and cooking demos. Live Metro master classes were great (P.S. Sign up early!). Definitely would go again!

It was good serve amount of tasting menu and some of new vendor that is not repeat from last year.

For the cost of admission there were not many samples. The cost of the beer should have been cheaper by a dollar or 2. What music there was was held in the open sun with little seating. Chagrined that teenaged staff were occupying seats which should have been relinquished to us older paying customers. Unless there are improvements reflected in reviews next year I will not attend again in 2017.

The environment at the festival was quite nice however the food is way too expensive and theyre not exactly sample sizes but the serving sizes are quite small for the price. I wish there were more vendors. There were a select 10 i would say? I am a huge dessert fan and there were hardly any options. Not really worth the 50$ i paid. Don't think i would be going again. Not for a while anyway

Over priced and pretentious. Long waits to pay $10 for a sample size dish. We spent 100 CND for tics and food and that only got us 4 sample dish vs a descent meal in a nice restaurant. Definitely not for family.
