These dancers were energetic, entertaining and extremely good. This was a family outing and my kids enjoyed it as much as the rest of us.
Great Show!! Very entertaining 90 minutes. I would recommend to everyone.
Wish we can see it again — absolutely phenomenal. Way better than expected & we were enthralled!
Great male tap dancers. Innovative sets and lighting. Powerful female drummers. A good show to take kids to, especially if they’re into dance. Loud!
As a tap dancer myself, I can see the amount of time, discipline and passion these guys have, let alone their athleticism! The musicians and musical directors do an amazing job as well creating a musical experience. They even manage to be humorous while executing dancing and rhythm with precision!
I saw Tap Dogs years ago. It was great. I saw it again in Chicago, it was basically the same show. Again great, but... That being said it seemed to be the same show, same tapping on divided planks, same water tricks. If you've seen it once, you've seen it. Perhaps that is why the theatre was not full. I bought my tickets early as a Christmas gift but could have gotten them for a third of the price later on. If you haven't seen it go, if you have still go but don't expect a new production.
Saw the show in Chicago. Wish I had seats that were closer. Was in nose bleed section way in back. But it was wonderful. The 6 male dancers were amazing in the way they dance as a team. I would call it a "dance drill team" with unique arrangements. Show runs about 1 hour 20 min and it's non stop. I didn't see them ever taking a break. Kids will like it...lots of laughter from the little ones. There was one routine where real sparks were used to create one of the numbers. Lots of color throughout and the two drummer's with them were great. Non stop eye candy. Get seats closer since there are a lot of face expressions that add to this show.
The energy of tap dance alone is fun to see but to add humor and visual set changes made this show fantastic!
A non-stop action packed tap experience. The time flew by and the show was very entertaining. Highly recommend and I would see again in a heartbeat. Steff
