Tanya Tucker on Tour
From the beginning of her career, when she was a teenager who sounded like someone way beyond her years, Tanya Tucker has been blessed with an uncommonly expressive voice. Throughout her artistic evolution over the decades, that's never changed. To this day, when you catch the country legend in concert, you're listening to a singer who can tell a story in song like nobody else. And what's country music about, if not telling stories? Whether she's delivering some of her earliest hits, like "Delta Dawn" and "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)," digging into later material, or changing things up completely with covers of tunes by the likes of the Eagles or Bruce Springsteen, Tucker approaches each performance of every song like it's the most important one of her life — because in that moment, it is.

Tanya Tucker has blazed a long and singular path in country music, starting in 1972 when the shockingly precocious singer, only 13 years old at the time, debuted with her hit "Delta Dawn" (before Helen Reddy ever recorded it). With a musical maturity that made her sound unquestionably adult, she churned out a string of No. 1 country hits while she was still in her teens, songs like "What's Your Mama's Name" and "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)." And of course the hits kept coming after she moved on to actual adulthood, with Tucker maintaining a presence in the Country Top 10 all the way into the late '90s. She's always had an outlaw attitude that set her apart from the pack — for instance, she released a rock 'n' roll album in 1979, when such things were unheard of for mainstream country stars. So her appeal has lasted, existing outside the constantly changing trends of country. For instance, when she released 2019's While I'm Livin', her first album in a decade, enough people were paying attention to ensure that the record made it into the Top 10 on the Country Album charts.
Tanya was beyond fantastic, I saw Tanya with my Uncle Harold years ago . She was just as good as back in her younger days. Will go again when she comes up again.
Tanya Tucker was great and her band is great also. Without question would/will see her again. Her voice is as it was 30yrs ago!
Tanya put on an excellent show. Very personable with her fans and she even signed autographs and took pictures after concert.
Was a good concert , staff organized. Just one complain. The drinks where too expensive. For 2 drinks it was $41 dlls. So we didn't buy anymore. I feel that if drinks were cheaper poeple will consume moreerGood concerts , but the venue had its drinks prices too expensive. For 2 drinks it was $41 !! Wow!
Tanya Tucker WOWED us with her energy, spunk, humor and her voice was AMAZING!!!! HER TALENT IS ENOUGH AT ANY AGE!!! BEST FEMALE COUNTRY VOCALS OF ALL TIME!!! Her concert left us feeling happy, satisfied and honored to have had the opportunity to watch a legend perform live on stage!!! Thank you Tanya for the decades of music!!! BTW, my husband was a bit disappointed for not hearing her perform Jamestown Ferry, lol... 💖

This was my 14th time to see Tanya and she brought the greatness as always. She sounded better than ever. She performed almost 2hrs singing hits that spanned her entire career. I would have loved to have heard a few more of the 90’s hits but I’m a 90’s kid and that’s my favorite era. Can’t wait to see her again and will go to every chance I get.
Tanya was great. Band was great as well. Her fiddle player was fabulous. Will Rogers Auditorium was really antiquated. My seat was bent to one side, the rows are so narrow that it is miserable. The bathrooms looked like something I imagine you would find in an old prison. With all the tax money we are paying it Tarrant County this should be a better experience . I would not return , even for free in this condition!!

Tanya rocked it. She doesn't need a mike. She sounded awesome LIVE!! Not like others. She interacted with the crowd. Would definitely see her again!!
The venue was superb, my first time at Will Roger’s Auditorium. Tanya was in good voice. She was also a hot mess. For someone who has a 52-year depth of catalog she spent more time chaotically rambling and sipping (her brand) vodka than actually performing music.

The absolute best concert ever! Tanya is the consummate singer and performer. Wish it could have lasted longer! I didn't want it to end! She was so "real"and there for her audience.
She is enormously tallented and so much fun!! She has so many hits this show had to be good. The stories she tells really makes her an artist you must see live at some point
