    Amazing Concert, Unfortunate Timeslot

by LH on 4/17/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

I experienced Tamia's set at the end of the Women's Empowerment Expo in Raleigh. The performance was incredible from her voice, background singers, the band, etc. She was the last on stage at the end of a 10 hour event which meant that people were leaving throughout her set to beat traffic. It was absolutely worth staying until the end though.

    Disappointed

by Kim on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

Women's Empowerment was beautiful all except the that we paid to see Tamia & Joe but only to find out they was performing 2hours AFTER all the other events I feel I deserve 40$ back because I got half òf what I paid for, so my review is a 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

    Okay, but disappointed

by Kj on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

I’ve attended Women’s Empowerment in the past and was excited to attend this year. I thoroughly enjoyed Sarah Jakes Roberts as the keynote speaker, but I was disappointed that she was only given thirty minutes to preach. Also, the itinerary was all over the place. The mental health forum took place at the wrong time. After that, there was about a two-hour gap where nothing was going on-stage before the concert started. Some attendees even opted to leave and come back later for the concert. During this two-hour break, music played over the speakers while musicians practiced completely different songs simultaneously. So it resulted in just a bunch of loud noise. I also don’t understand why Sarah Jakes Roberts was given such a short time to speak when there was a two-hour gap in performances later in the evening. She could have been given more time. Overall, I enjoyed the speakers and performers, but the event could have been planned much better than it was.

Two hour wait was two hours too long

by Disappointed on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

We should not had to wait two hours for the final performances . Very disappointed in logistics and communication about the scheduling.

We didn’t get to see her or Joe!!

by BW on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

What sense does it make to have a 2 hour seminar on finances from 5pm to 7pm and bring the artists on at 8:00 pm when we already stood in a line outside for 1.5 hours before they opened the doors up. No we did not see Tamia or Joe so I cannot rate her performance . This women’s empowerment was a waste of time, money and energy. This is Only My Opinion!!!

Disappointing. Sara Roberts was the headliner and should have had more stage time.

    Not as advertised

by SK on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

The event was advertised on tickets from 2-6p. Tamia and Joe were not scheduled to perform until 8p. Unfortunately I did not get to see them. I’m sure the performance was amazing but it was misrepresented with the event timing.

Tamia was Awesome. Organizer not so much

by Paula G on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

Tamia was awesome from start to finish, her voice is just as amazing as when she just started. I would have preferred if she was on earlier as by the time she got on it was a little late and folks started leaving. Also they wasn’t an updated schedule so performances were all over the place. Tamia on the other hand a true star and would not hesitate to see her again.

    Tamia

by Droopy on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

Everyone didn’t appreciate Tamia that I was hoping they would. Her singing was wonderful!!! Enjoy her!! Sound quality from the team should have been adjusted. It was too loud.

    Joe

by Max on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

Joe did an amazing job. Unfortunately, I left after the 4th song Tamia sang. She did good! However, it was a great event!

    Not the best

by Peachie on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

I really was disappointed in the wait time to get into the event. The screens were not clear and I know that I had a great seat. Didn’t stay to see Tamia and Joe. I’ve been been to a lot of the Women’s Empowerment events and this one was by far the worst experience. But will return next year. Sarah Jakes Roberts was awesome and Le’Andria phenomenal.

    Didn't start on time

by Aj on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

Event didn't start on time. Doors didn't open up on time. Pastor Sarah, the violinist and LeAndria were amazing

    Nice

by Sunshine on 4/16/24PNC Arena - Raleigh

The Speakers were Awesome, but there has to be something done about the Concert ( or second half ) The show should have went on. Getting there 4 hours of activities is enough. But having to leave and return makes no sense
