TALL HEIGHTS IN CONCERT:

Acoustic folk duo Tall Heights is the latest and greatest act to emerge from Boston’s underground music scene. With the perfect blend of harmonies, rich guitar strumming, and elegant cello, the band puts on a captivating performance that's sure to please new and diehard fans alike. Tim Harrington and Paul Wright complement each other’s voice on songs like “To Be Young” and “Eastern Standard Time” while they fill the room with the sweet sounds of their instruments. A promising pair, Tall Heights treats fans to plenty of original material alongside choice covers like the Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face” on their mellow live tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Boston-based group Tall Heights was started in 2011 by Tim Harrington and Paul Wright who began penning songs and recording them in their apartment. They took to the streets soon after to busk around town and expose their music to passersby and potential new fans. They released their debut EP Rafters in 2011, which they recorded and produced themselves using a few mics and a computer. Tall Heights followed up in 2012 with the Running of the Bulls EP before hitting the road for a US tour that earned them a growing following. Since then they’ve released their widely acclaimed 2013 full-length debut Man of Stone, toured alongside Andrew Belle and Laura Marling, and wowed countless fans with their rustic folk at their atmospheric shows.

Their dynamic on stage is so great! I've never seen them perform before and I was blown away.

  • Folking Epic.

Saw these handsome gents play at The Sinclair for Folk The Cold, sharing the bill with Darlingside and The Ballroom Thieves. There were also a couple of special guests: Eric Jones on drums (manager of D-side and Thieves) and the lovely Elizabeth Vaughan on keyboard and supporting vocals. The TallRoomSide family is full of extremely talented, humorous, and kindhearted individuals. Never do you feel more like a partner in the music experience than with these three bands. They always take care to address the crowd, crack a few witty jokes, introduce each band member to their audience, and are always available to chat after the show. They love hugs and kisses and aren't afraid to show it on stage. And did I mention that the music they play is phenomenal? These kids are going somewhere. Don't miss an opportunity to see them live. And you'd be crazy not to own an album or two.

Great to see Tall Heights back in Massachusetts!! Sounding even better than when we last saw them in May. More mature and harmonies that give you chills . A show not to be missed
