This was an Excellent concert. The Parker Playhouse is a great venue where you feel close to the musicians. There is no bad seat in the house. The musicians and singers were high quality. All were very entertaining. I would highly recommend. You will enjoy it!

    Outstanding!

by DJM on 2/24/20Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

One of the best musical performances I've seen in a long time! The blending of voices from Take 6, Frelon and Holmes was absolutely beautiful, and Kirk Whalum (one of my favorite musicians) was the perfect saxophone lead to play with their amazing band. This show is a must see!

Not to bad wasn’t what we expected

by D. B. on 2/24/20Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

I feel Clint Holmes should of cancelled, you could tell he was in pain with whatever was going on and they filled in with the Be bop boys way to often . The gal was unbelievable. All in all it was just ok not worth the money, if Clint was well it would of been great because he makes the show but he was not at his best with what was going on . The Center is always great !

Georgia on my mind was good, but short.

by JJAGold on 3/3/14Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The music was very good. The artist guest orchestra and choirs were excellent. Kirtk Whalum was magniface. It was short. They preformed for 45 min, took a 25 min brake and then preformed for 45 min. For the price paid, the performance time was disapointing.

    eh

by fallingman on 3/2/14Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The sound was lousy. Take 6 certainly wasn't showcased. So much to cut through. Those harmonies are lost in the mix of stage full of performers with horns blaring and a snare drum amped to the max. They stand out acapella. They get lost against a big band. Needed more from the choir too. The organ wasn't nearly prominent enough. The guy was a player too, but he might as well have stayed home for the little you could hear him. Not the best horn section. Neena was good. Mr. Holmes handled Come Rain or Come Shine nicely. Otherwise, he wasn't a great fit. The duets were well done. had the sound been better... Not to be too critical, as there were some good moments, but this was an uneven performance at best. Seemed thrown together.

    take 6 was the best

by OHENRY13 on 2/20/14Curtis M Phillips Center for Performing Arts - Gainesville

I enjoyed every aspect of the show. Every seat was a good seat because the sound was amazing, however there were many empty seats and it seemed that most of the audience was in one area (BALCFC).

Take 6 was well worth my time.

by VickyK on 2/20/14Curtis M Phillips Center for Performing Arts - Gainesville

The vocal talent was excellent. The comedic interaction between the members was fun to watch. I only wish it could have lasted longer. I have been listening to Take 6 since about 1992. This is the first time I have seen them live. I would definitely do it again..
