Such a beautiful night! He is amazing his voice is just sublime. Listening to him live is just like listening to him in Spotify or Pandora. The show was in a church which made it very intimate and the sounds was great! His new album is so good that it is hard to pick a favorite!
The show was perfect! Best songs played and he have a good sense of humour.

We were quite literally minds blown by how good this concert was! (Even tho the venue was a church and they didn’t have a bar in it!) The opener was called Flower Face, they sounded almost angelic. Their part of the show was beautiful and soft, and we enjoyed it very much. The second portion of the show, which was the main show, was AMAZING! SYML sounded even better live, than his recordings. The fact that he was such a beautiful and relatable character was also a bonus point I think for everyone to feel like they belonged. All in all it was an amazing experience. Would definitely go again in the future if they’re ever in town.
It was smaller than concerts I usually attend and I loved it! Felt very home-y, warm and intimate! SYML and field guide were both amazing live.
The venue was perfect! Festival Place allowed for an intimate feel and a way to connect to and with everyone in a collective listening experience. I can't wait to see SYML again and to see other concerts in Festival Place in the future.
Brian is my favorite artist, I’ve already seen him before but the second time around was just outstanding. He also knew who I was this time around which made me feel like i was on top of the world.
I wish I had known that the event site was a standing-only location, but the staff were all friendly, the opening group was great, and SYML is lovely. The personalities were friendly and welcoming, so it was a really chill evening.
If you haven't seen him live you must!! When artist sound better live they are the real deal and he's one of those!!! Will go watch him again when he comes again!!! Brought my friend with me she told me he earned a new fan she loved him!!!
SYML’s music is multi layered, nuanced & soulful with an emotional depth that moves you in a powerful way. His voice is AMAZING, and this is a show I would never choose to miss. He’s also funny and personable on stage, he had us laughing out loud several times. Highly recommended.
This was the first time I had been to the Basement for a show. We were able to be very close to the stage. I hadn't heard of the opening group, Flora Cash but they were excellent. SYML was fantastic. His voice sounded great and he spoke to the audience, answering questions and telling us some personal stories that inspired his songs. His closing song (my favorite) was one of the best performances I have seen. Both acts stayed after to talk and take pictures and we absolutely loved that part. It's a show I won't forget.
SYML and Flora Cash were awesome! And Brian Fennell of SYML stopped and talked to us for 15 minutes. What a genuinely great man. It was the best experience ever!

Syml, or Brian, was amazing live, excellent sound quality!! He is funny and personable and ridiculously talented. The space was fantastic for this type of show, intimate and relaxed.
