Such an incredible show! Parker Twomey was a really good opener ... But we were all there to see Suzanne and she did not disappoint. Even the drunk guy leaning all over the stage didn't ruin things. Suzanne and the band were tight and impressive, even though this were only their third show together. I think they played everything off of both of Suzanne's albums plus a few new songs. Oh, and they did an incredible cover of Eye of the Tiger during the encore with Suzanne playing the melody and one solo on the fiddle!
Steal of a deal to get to see someone this good in a small venue !
Great show! Wonderful staff and awesome sound. The bands were at the perfect volume for a great show. Overall my experience was great. The only thing id add was I wish they would get rid of the Negative testing/Vacc. Cards. Unless everyone is taking a test it really means nothing. Other than that It was an absolutely wonderful experience.
I have been following this unique songbird since her early days in HoneyHoney. She has grown as a songwriter and vocalist and I have been waiting for years to see her again. I traveled to see her at the Taft Ballroom in Cincinnati, from Charleston SC. I was not disappointed. Ms. Santo performed for about 2 hours covering her solo albums. I wish she had played a few of my favorites from HoneyHoney, but I was thrilled to hear anything from her and her solo material is wonderful. She was and is amazing. Now if she would just come to Charleston (hint, hint).
I have seen Suzanne with her previous band Honey Honey, solo, acoustic and now again at the Taft. She. Never. Disappoints. An amazing performer, a funny disposition, cute, honest and super down to earth. Her musical talent is unmatched and the feelings she evokes is pure and raw.
An incredible live energy and talent. She is amazing by herself and the band put this over the top. They played super well together. Special shout out to the opener The Sea The Sea, you have a new fan in me!

They rocked it from the beginning. Very interactive with the audience. Changed up some of the set on the fly because of some of those interactions. Great smaller shows like this are always great to get to meet the band, and Susanne, after the show! Autographed setlists, selfies with them etc. Awesome time!!
Suzanne Santo released, what is in my opinion, the best album of 2021. She was great at Mercury Lounge and I hope to see her again soon.
