Super Freestyle Explosion Tickets

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. VOCALS WERE VERY BAD. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!

I thought it was a great show, I was only disappointed that it didn't sell better. The floor was packed but it was obvious that the stands were pretty empty. I think if this event had been marketed more, it would have done a lot better. The tickets were a great price for like a million acts who all did their biggest hits, what was not to love?! I think the acts would have been able to put on a better show had they had more of a budget, like using a band, etc. They all sounded great. I've always wanted to see Lisa Lisa and she didn't disappoint. She sounded amazing. I was surprised by how great Expose was, I really enjoyed their performance. Overall, great show for the price. Someone really needs to put some funding behind shows like this and they will do really well.

Don't get me wrong.. I love the music itself... Performances were HORRIBLE! All of them. No special effects. Waste of time and money... Just my opinion.. Ive been to ALOT of concerts... This one fits nicely at the very very bottom.

concert was amazing...we had a blast...it was so good to see that free style music is still alive and well, especially in Houston. I'm from NY, so i didn't realize that there was that much people that liked free style music.

I am so glad this event was brought together to bring back memorable moments. I just wish they could come back more often

Felt like Senior Prom, everyone dancing, reminiscing and not wanting to go home!

Overall the show was good but there was a lot of room for improvement. No one was policing the seating so we couldnt get into our seats so we were upgraded with better seats... that is until the rightful owners showed up, which I was expecting, and then again, we couldnt get into OUR rightful seats... A debate began and then we just walked off from it.... we conceded and sat in much lesser seats than what we paid for just to save the fuss. MOST of the acts were good. Expose looked very good. Nu Shooz did a good job as well. Trinere came to party and had a good time and performance, Shannon was good and did a very good job especially for her age, Lisa Lisa was great and got choked up during her set, Johnny O was pumped up and had a good time, Stevie B was OK... Debbie Deb was terrible.... She couldnt hardly speak without her voice cracking let alone sing her old tunes and she SERIOUSLY needs to get on a diet.... I fear for her life. Security at the event almost seemed an after thought though... This was definitely not a top level production event.

FREESTYLE 4-EVER ! Need to keep FREESTYLE shows coming to Houston every year ! Show was GREAT! Could have been more organized, sound checks were bad , interfered with Cynthia's performance, she had no music, she had to improvise by singing w/out music and had to leave the stage. Should have had more advertisment thru radio and billboards ,would have had a better turnout . Cant wait for the next one.

Amazing line up. Well worth the price! Loved Expose. They were amazing. Saw Debbie Deb and Johnny O for the first time. Always loved their music. Good memories.

Totally surprised that each performers had to sing along to horrible sound tracks. The speakers and set up was deplorable. Only Stevie B had a band. If the music set up was better, say like a club, it could of been successful. Expose was great. Nu shoos was a good runner up. Debbie Deb had great energy and got us revved. Cynthia was ok. Stacie Q was adorable. Johnny O needs to not try to dance like back then. Lol. Trinere was great. Lisa lisa acted like a diva but still could sing. Shannon was excellent. Her man in uniform was a nice piece of man candy. The ushers in the reliant arena were rude and racist. The seats were terrible, even paying extra for good seats. Couldn't believe they marked the rows with chalk on the concrete floor, which killed my feet.

The Event was really Good Music, Artist How ever I was disapointed that about 90% of the arena was empty of guest very sad. I dont think there was advertisement about the event going on. The only reason I found out about this event was on Radio.
