About

About the Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai

While the Super Bowl is the main attraction, the week leading up to the big game is always full of events and pop-ups throughout the host city. Among the many press conferences, parties, and other minutiae of Super Bowl week, this year you'll be able to find the Super Bowl Experience, Driven by Hyundai. This interactive "theme park" allows fans at the event to become a part of Super Bowl history with many games and exhibits, as well as giving them the chance to test their footballing skills.

That Super Bowl history is in full effect at the Super Bowl Experience, as the Vince Lombardi trophy will be on display for fans to take photos with throughout the week. Fans can also take an up-close and personal look at all 52 Super Bowl rings to date, from the Green Bay Packers' Super Bowl 1 jewelry to the ones worn by the Philadelphia Eagles after their Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots.

If that's not enough, current and former NFL players will be on hand to take photographs and sign autographs for those in attendance. And if you think you can join their ranks, the Experience offers the Combine Corner, which puts fans through some of the same drills that incoming rookies go through at the pre-draft Combine.

Finally, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at interviews with players and celebrities in attendance, as hosted by the NFL Network. All of this adds up to a comprehensive view of how Super Bowl week comes together, from the players to the media to the historical overtones of the event. And of course, the NFL Shop at Super Bowl will be open, so fans can scoop up souvenirs to commemorate their time at the big game.

by Anonymous on 1/27/15Phoenix Convention Center - Phoenix

got inside the building 2 hours before closing time, half of the attractions where closed no nfl players to be found or cheerleaders or even mascots, i wish somebody from the nfl staff would of warm me before buying my tickets which aint cheap at all, we also try to take a pic with the lambardi trophy at 930 pm and they took us out of the line because they were close when they nfl experience clearly states that it closes at 10 pm so overall a waste of money and bad experience for my kids

We ordered our tickets for the adults only night but it snowed so kids stayed til 10 instead of 9 .. I had the best time everything was so organized and friendly and I have a feeling that I will probably compare this years in AZ to the one in Dallas.

So much to do, so little time

by Tmois on 4/12/12NFL Experience - Indianapolis

Came across this in Ticketmaster and thought I'd add a couple thoughts for those considering the NFL Experience in future years. Essentially, it's a superhuge interactive venue designed for kids to participate in different aspects of football. After all, this is the Superbowl. You're flooded with everything NFL, As a youth, it's only a matter of time before you want to kick a ball, throw a pass, or block a dummy. This is the place to do it. Obviously, the problem is that IT"S THE SUPERBOWL. It's packed, and everyone wants a turn. As result, prepare to wait in line. We went the Friday before Superbowl Sunday. I had two 15 yr. olds with me and they loved it., but could not participate in many of the events because of time. My recommendations:: Go to the Experience on an earlier date then the weekend of the game if possible. If not possible, then try to add an extra day to your trip so that you can spend more time in the venue. There may be a lot of waiting, but any sports active kid will enjoy it, and that's really part of the reason to go in the first place.... isn't it? P.S. - Thumbs up to Indy. They did a GREAT job!

    NFL - bad experience

by Purduefan on 2/2/12Indiana Convention Center - Indianapolis

We have 3 boys that are avid football fans - they love to play and they love to watch. Decided to drive from Chicago to Indy over the weekend to attend the NFL Experience on Sunday afternoon. It was a complete bust. We had tickets for the noon entry...took us at least 45 minutes to funnel in with a huge crowd. Once inside, we discovered that we needed to sign waivers for our kids if they wanted to play any of the games...this took another 45 minutes. Finally fought the crowds and stood in line to kick field-goals. Waited almost 90 minutes to do this. By this time, our boys were DONE. They decided that they would have more fun heading home to play football in our backyard. So, so disappointed. We expected some lines, 15 - 20 minutes would have been understandable, but this was ridiculous. Signage was not good, maps were not being distributed (had to hunt them down at the information desks), food was expensive...all in all, it was just a poorly executed event. Our kids were so excited to go, and it was a long, quiet car ride home - they were totally disappointed.

    NFL experience

by ManManMan on 2/1/12NFL experience - Indianapolis

NFL has no shame. Selling the amount of tickets for this event so you could stand in line for an hour to see how far you could throw a football. A few nice exhibits however overall not a good experience of the NFL. Looks like the NFL cleared 1 million last Saturday alone on this event. Stay in the "Village" Indy and enjoy your city and out of the Convention center.

    Avoid!

by TallGirl23 on 2/1/12Indiana Convention Center - Indianapolis

Not worth the money. The lines were very long and you had to wait hours for the activities. I went on Monday and it was packed so I can't imagine what it is going to be like the rest of the week. Save yourself the trouble and just avoid downtown altogether. Rude people and long lines.. not worth it.

    NFL Experience was Very Frustrating.

by lemondog on 1/31/12Indiana Convention Center NFL Experience - Indianapolis

Tickets purchased from Ticketmaster have an assigned entry time. This is some modified form of crowd control, as you can enter any time, and stay as long as you want. So those who enter at 10am can stay the entire time, when - like any good citizen, if you wait for your assigned time, you will likely face long lines, and not enough time to do the things that are highly advertised. The lines for the Activity events (Field goal kick, pass catch, 40yd dash), are all over an hour long, and as stated in another post, others with NFLextra move to the front of the line, and can repeat the cycle through as many times as they wish. We had an entry time of 5pm, went in at 4pm, and were able to do two activites before closing. Very Frustrating and disappointing for the family.

    NFL Bad Experience

by Anonymous on 1/29/12Convention Center - Indianapolis

My daughter got to play football with a NFL star. That was the highlight of our experience. The lines are riduculous. After standing in line for hours we found out that for an extra $46 per person you could buy a 'fast pass' bracelet to skip the lines (no wonder I had to wait for hours). The idea is great the execution is pathetic. Be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. They claim that it is open until 10 PM, but around 9:35 they begin to shut down the activites to all except those with that magic 'fast pass' bracelet. Forget about getting any food. The lines at the food booths are crazy too. One person at the register who takes your order, forgets what she put in the register, has to come back and ask you several times what you ordered and then has to go collect all of your items. They do have a family pack discount so we saved a little on the price of admission.

by Anonymous on 1/6/12Fun for Kids - Dallas

Went my first time last year in Dallas, and it was a lot of fun. I wish I would have waited in line for the NFL shop there though to get our souveniers because the gift shop at the SuperBowl was CRAZY, and everything was picked over :( The prices are kinda high for the pops, I think in the range of $10 with a souvenier cup. I'm not going to the game this year, but only live 2 hrs away from Indy, so I'm taking my kids who are 8, 6 and 1, it will be really fun for them. Plus they give out freebies which my kids will love. If you live within driving distance, you should definitley go. Get there early though because when we left, there was a rat maze of people waiting in line to get in. This was the best part of my SuperBowl experience. The game wasn't all that great.

    All around fun

by chmoco21 on 2/4/11Dallas Convention Center - Dallas

This even was alot of fun. The events were catered towards all, children and adults. The staff working the attractions were all in good spirits despite the huge amount of people in attendance. I really enjoyed myself as well as the children that I brought along with me. This should be a repeated event every year.

    nfl experience

by decajun on 2/3/11Dallas Convention Center - Dallas

Better than I thought it was....brought my son and grandson (1) and was able to get some great pic's with the uniform manakin, and the draft area with team jersey and other pic's. was able to participate in one event...lines were too long to wait with small child. on a sour note**** 1)only one line to go up the esculators going in causing a 30 minute line to get in???? 2) on the way out, a cop would not let us cut through the doors to get to the underground parking lot, by the elevator. so I had to walk a mile to get back to my car instead of 10feet. stupid!!!

    Nothing is Constant but Change

by TriceyluvsBre on 2/2/11Dallas Convention Center - Dallas

My nephews enjoyed the experience and when it was time to leave, they didn't want to. My brothers are not financially stable; therefore, they don't get to go out and take their sons to events like this due to them not having any money. Therefore, I am elated that I was blessed to receive free tickets so that my brothers were able to share and attend this event with their sons. It was a wonderful event.

by Amazon44 on 2/2/11Dallas Convention Center - Dallas

We enjoyed the memoribilia and the NFL Shop, but most of all the game events were definetely the best for us. We played each of the games and we had a lot of fun. We got some autographs and my niece enjoyed the NFL 60 training. We would definetely recommend anyone to attend

    NFL experience

by Anonymous on 2/2/11Dallas Convention Center - Dallas

It was a great experience! But food and drinks were ridiculous in price, and with all those activities the children get hungry and thirirsty. With that said ,we had to leave early because we could not afford to keep buying food and drinks for triple the price.

    Overall , Very impressive display

by gobucks9000 on 2/1/11Dallas Convention Center - Dallas

The North Texas Super Bowl Committee did a great job with this event. and all events across the metroplex. All the dealers in the memorabilia show were great and as a past exhibitor at Super Bowls XXX (Phoenix) and Super Bowl XXX! (New Orleans, we would like to thank all those involved for the incredible amount of attention paid to detail with security and crowd control and the exhibits of past memorabilia. The Dallas Convention Center was a great venue, although we would have loved to see the same set-up in the Arlington Convention Center across from The Ballpark in Arlington and Cowboys Stadium. Did not mind the drive, tho with the organization and ease of parking at the DCC. Hope we are able to participate in future Super Bowl events!
