This was a poorly done "festival" if you can even call it that. Food was scarce and Sub par. There was a shockingly small amount of breweries there. Would not recommend this.
Great venue! The food was suitable for event. Huge variety of beers, ciders, and spritz!

I have been to a few beer tastings/brew fest and to be honest this one was not worth the money. Limited brewers and the food wasn't that great. I think the wings were the best thing there. One of the big turn offs was the unfriendliness of a couple of the girls pouring samples. Unfortunately it's was the stout which I liked the best. Most of the servers were awesome though ! We left after an hour. Not many choices of beer to try so that was long enough. Very nice place though and I did like the separate rooms to venture into.
Before an hour into the session, some of the vendors ran out of beer and left. Before I chose the 6-9 seasion, I called and asked what the difference from the earlier session and this one. I was told that there are more beer with hops and the food is included. If I knew that there would be only a fraction of the vendors and some of them leaving early, I would not have gone.
Disappointed when people were only paying $30.00 there when I paid $43.00 through ticket Master! Never again. Got me one time that's it!
We had a nice time with the friends that we went with, but disapointed with the amount of beer stands and the food for the price that we had paid. the Brewfest was from 6pm to 9pm, by 8:15 almost half of the beer stands were empty. They knew the timeframe and the amount of people that were going to be there, they should of prepared for this. The Food was bar food but i thought it could be a little better. The Wings and wraps were very good, the sliders were sliders. The tater tots were hard as a rock. they could of changed it up a little and a little better quality again for the 50 dollars that we spent for 3 hours,,,, Also maybe some music and it should of all of been in one huge room so that people could mingle a little, instead it was going between room.
This was our first time at both Mohegan Sun and the BrewFest. While we were impressed with the casino, resort, and ball room space, the logistics of the event prevented us from enjoying it. The band was too loud and took up a lot of space that could have been given to another vendor. The lines were too long and often it was confusing as to where they began and which line went to which brewer. Because it seemed like it was overbooked, the tables they placed for taking a break or socializing were in the way. It was not easy to get around. We did like the selection of vendors - we just didn't enjoy how it was planned.

I have attended the sun brew fest for years and saw this new event which I thought would be similar plus food and football....I was wrong. Beer was very limited, companies ran out within an hour, it was minimal effort from Mohegan and Aroogas and not worth anything more than $5
This is the best event of the year for a beer drinker. I'm always curious to try new brews but hate to pay for a 6 pack and not like it so this is my opportunity to sample for a great price. Always a good time lots of people but never a long wait to taste. If you haven't gone you should!! All you can sample for 3 hours even if you stand at the same booth.
