If you're a Donna Summer fan as I am you'll love this show. The ladies voices were superb. Learned things about Donna I did not know which made it very interesting as well as entertaining. Bought me back to my Studio 54 days being in the disco!

This could have been a fantastic show given the music, the talent and the multilayered story of Donna Summer’s life. Instead it fell totally flat other than the fantastic 3 “Donnas”. It seemed interminable and the snippets of Donna Summers life were hard to follow and disjointed. Plus the audience was impossible. People could not sit still, kept talking and probably thought they were at a rock concert not a Broadway show. If you go, enjoy the voices and the songs but it may not be enough to keep your attention for 100 minutes with no intermission.
I was very disappointed. Loved her music growing up and felt like only the oldest to play Donna Summer sounded like her.
As usual, the critics are way off base... Everyone in attendance had a fantastic time...
I may see it again. It brought back some great memories of that time. I loved it!!

I am a Disco Diva, and love love Donna Summer, I knew every song and was dancing in my seat. great event with girlfriends!
The story line was paced just right to keep things moving along. The singing was excellent. A lot of songs in a 2 hr period.
Great fun, outstanding performances. Highly recommended for disco fans.

Fabulous time at the theater with college friends! We were ready to get up and dance. The 3 Donna's were all wonderful and the music was of course fab. They should have had a dance floor in the lobby! Just ordered another Summer CD as unfortunately the Summer one is not yet available. Please spread the word and go see Summer!!!
If you loved her voice and felt sad when they played, “Last Dance”; if you loved the music of the era and couldn’t wait to go to your favorite discotheque and DANCE; if you want to learn a little more about the wonderful Donna Summer and feel good and happy while doing it—- go see “Summer, the Donna Summer Musical”!!!!!

what a terrific show ! Saw Donna in AC back in 2004 and this show certainly did her music justice. really enjoyed it. It was emotional and uplifting; had people dancing in the aisles! highly recommended!!
The music is sublime, the acting is terrific...(with what the actors had to work with) Donna Summer deserved much better than this book, which surprised me because of the writers attached. It appears that the the writers/director found the songs they wanted performed and wrote short little nuggets to go with them. They explored nothing. There was no drama in the drama! Perusing Playbill it appears as if her daughters were not involved. Why was that?

Whether you are a fan of Donna Summers music or not, you will love this play. The women who played Donna in different stages of he life were all excellent and I got chills during some songs. I am an avid musical fan and I have to say this made my top 5 list!
