Sugar Skull is an engaging and original interactive play/musical that tells the tale of a young Latina girl who travels in the world of her Hispanic ancestry, where she learns to appreciate the music, folklore and beliefs of her ancestors. This a very creative play with live musicians, that shares the true cultural history of the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos). Enjoyed every minute!
Going from scene to scene was a perfect transition. Acting was great. The Aztec ghost was amazing! I highly recommend it. Grandma walking had everyone laughing. Love how actors encouraged the crowd to participate. The live band created the perfect atmosphere. Singing was great. Mad me feel proud of my culture. Love that some actors came out for a greet and meet. Someone should turn this into a movie.

This was an excellent show for children and adult.
I had the best time of my life. It was fun, entertaining and kept wanting more. Performance of the month. I am not a fun of shows but this one made me rethink my decision. Outstanding, especially by candy skeleton! a..k.a. Sugar Skull!
