High Octane Performance Definitely Delivers
by Brian on 11/6/22Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5As a child of Britpop (an association they have always eschewed) Suede rolled up and rocked the audience with a wave of songs from their early hits all the way to their newest material. None of it disappointed: in Brett Anderson, Suede have a frontman who could single handedly power a large city such is his non stop energy which was lapped up and reciprocated by the (now mesmerized) audience. Don't ask me for the set list...I couldn't tell you, such was the spell cast by a performance that I was hoping would be epic and delivered in every way. I've been to hundreds and hundreds of gigs and this one sits comfortably in the top 5. Just outstanding.
