Subtronics has emerged as a visionary force in electronic music, continually reshaping the landscape through fearless innovation and evolution. Celebrated for his intricate sound design, explosive energy, and genre-defying performances, his meteoric rise reflects a relentless drive to push creative boundaries and transform with every release. From sold-out arenas to landmark bookings at Coachella and the Las Vegas Sphere, Subtronics has ascended from underground favorite to global headliner.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began his musical journey on the drums at a young age. He taught himself electronic music production in high school, which established the precision and creative curiosity that has defined his sound.
Subtronics' debut album, 'FRACTALS' (2022), introduced cinematic themes that fused emotional melodies with his cutting-edge production style. The album debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and trended globally over "K-pop" on Twitter/X, an indicator of his cultural reach and passionate fanbase.
In 2024, he expanded his soundscapes with sophomore album, 'TESSERACT' which debuted at No. 3 among North American releases on Spotify, No. 1 on Apple Music's Dance chart, and No. 5 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
Subtronics announced 'FIBONACCI' - his forthcoming two-part album, live from the Ultra Music Festival mainstage in March 2025. The complete body of work will be available on December 5, 2025, via his imprint, Cyclops Recordings. The label was founded in December of 2020, and is home to a roster of forward-thinking producers, along with the majority of Subtronics' catalog.
Beyond the studio, Subtronics has cultivated a network of prestigious live experiences that mirror the scale and ambition of his music through his own branded events. His three-day Cyclops Dome takeover in 2023 at the Tacoma Dome, in Tacoma, WA, redefined live production with a fully immersive ceiling of motorized LED panels. His three-day open-air festival, Cyclops Cove, at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton, FL, and Cyclops Rocks, a double-header at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, have become destination events for fans. Backed by sold-out arena tours, distinguished Las Vegas residencies, and a record-breaking sold-out-six-night run at The Shrine in Los Angeles, he has become a defining force on mainstages across the globe.
Celebrated for his origin in dubstep, Subtronics has evolved far beyond any single genre, crafting a distinct identity built on constant growth, bold experimentation, and an unshakable commitment to originality. Each chapter of his career reinforces his technical brilliance and role as a boundary-breaking artist, shaping the future of electronic music.
Everything about the event was awesome. the production and performance. but the line for security to get in was way too long
Subtronics put on a great event. The openers were great and the venue was great. I wish the Greensboro coliseum would do more electronic events in the special events center! Even though the line was long it moved quickly and efficiently. The crowd was unmatched with energy, the staff was enjoying themselves while remaining professional and the music was incredible! Thanks for a great night.
The show was awesome. The only downside my buddy works and does rigging there and he told me and I noticed when I was there, they didn’t hang as many lights and as many speakers as they were supposed to need to be a bigger venue unfortunately that would’ve been very epic if all that was installed.
I was a little upset that there were no seats in the Colosseum. The show was being advertised inside the Colosseum so one is assuming that you’re going to be given the option for seats but they had pushed them back. It made it seem like false advertising. However, the production was great. The people were very respectful. There was good security all around. Overall a very good show.
Amazing venue. Spacious venue. Loved it had an amazing time with misses
This was the perfect show!! Subtronics, Wooli, etc. performed spectacularly. The venue was superb and had the perfect layout for a giant rave!! I finally got to see Subtronics fairly close up!! I'm more than pleased!! 51 years old and such excellent EDM will never be too young for me!!
Everything went smooth parking easy and staff and the view of the show was great
Venue is one of the best in Boston for EDM shows. Staff was friendly and I’m si glad they had water station this year. Subtronics absolutely KILLLEDDDD it. Wish the permits would allow for later show but I had a blast nonetheless!!!!!
More edm music should be in Atlanta stadiums it was such an amazing experience
The artist's looked to be having a blast and the crowd was electric! 5/5 would relive that day again if I could^^
So from buying the ticket to leaving the venue I was so confused. I have gone to his atl tour show for the past 3 years since the fractals tour and normally I get a seat tickets and I’m allowed in the pit. This time the venue changed. And so did that rule and I didn’t know until I got there. I was confused on how to find the seat. And confused on how to purchase a Pit ticket because when I bought mine all that were available were seat tickets. And that has happened every year so I just alway buy a seat not even thinking about it. The show was amazing! But not allowing people to vape and not telling them till last minute is not okay. I would have went to a different tour stop that would allow that in there building. It was just all so new. But I guess that comes with it moving to an arena is what I was told all night. I don’t blame him or his team or anything. I just think this should be more of a spoken thing than not. I had no clue and I’ve been raving since 2019 going to festival and shows
Subtronics was amazing as usual. If you haven't seen him live yet, you really need to. He has a great stage presence and his music always hits. He is always making new stuff so you're guaranteed to hear something new every time you see him. i'm not a huge fan of this venue though. security was acting like they've never seen ravers before. They kept staring at us throughout the entire show and at the end they were yelling at everybody to get out. It's like, I was on my way out, but it was raining that night and I wanted to make sure I was on the right side of the arena where my car was before I walked out into the rain. would definitely see Subtronics again but not in an arena. Much better to see him at a music festival.
One of the best concerts at SF arena. They need to have more edm concerts there.
I showed up in time for Hedex. The second he came on was 10/10 energy all the way till Subtronics finished. I can home and had to shower immediately. I then started watching all the videos I took , then I had to shower again, that’s how good it was.
Really fun I would recommend to anyone interested in this kinds of music
I went to night 2 of the Tesseract tour at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, and was amazed by the stage design. The crowd energy was incredible and all of the DJs were great. The visuals, pyro, lasers, lighting, and those brand new light and laser squares created an immersive experience that I really enjoyed. Subtronics is an incredible performer and DJ that I believe every bass music enthusiast and enjoyer should see at least once. Truly an unforgettable experience.
I’ve been wanting to see Subtronics for some time now. His set was phenomenal. He was giving his best effort, considering the fact he’s been nonstop in his tour. The bass combined with the lights & lasers melted my face. The crowd was a great vibe too.
I love the venue. From the kind employees to the massive stage and great production. My only issue is with the drink prices. I paid 22 bucks for a jack and coke that was so small it wasn’t worth walking away from the trash.
The most fun I have had in a minute! This was our first Subtronic show, and it was a blast and just so, so, so FUN! I am an instant fan. The openers were great, and I was blown away at what Subtronic brought to Boston. His fans are inclusive and friendly; you can be yourself and get lost in the music. His message at the end was so heartfelt and genuine, and he wants the best for all. If you like fun, loud noises, being free, and getting a lot of bass, you should go to a Subtronics show. It is 100000000000% worth it! I can't wait for the next one.
Subtronics always throws done gotta see him when he’s in town
