  • Great show!

by shane on 6/14/23The Factory St. Petersburg - St. PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

The opening band "Except You" was pretty darn good and got the crowd amped up to be completely blown away by Atlanta's "Upchuck" who were fantastic in every way. The vocalists singing style and attitude coupled with the amazing guitar work brought the house down. They were five times louder than the opener and blew out the electric for a few minutes. Once back on the pit full of young folks, which I was very happy to see (punk's not dead) started back up and did not end until the Subhumans were over. Seeing the Subhumans took me back to highschool and made me remember why they're in my top five best bands of all time. So much energy still, after over 40 years of doing what they do. The venue was perfect for this show, big enough to fit everyone and small enough for everyone to find the perfect spot to enjoy the show. I picked a spot right in front of the guitar amps and stayed there the duration of the night. Great show all around.

  • Subhumans in Florida

by HubCap on 6/13/23The Factory St. Petersburg - St. PetersburgRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent punk venue, unbelievably hot, beverages limited out of a beach cooler. Plenty of room, would have been great to open the bay doors a bit for some airflow.

  • Don’t Miss Out On These Legends!

by VH on 11/9/22Teragram Ballroom - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Second time seeing Subhumans and have not been let down - amazing amazing energy and love how Dick engages with the crowd. Brought a friend who is not into this scene or music and next thing you know he wanted to get into the pit! If you ever have the opportunity to check out Subhumans in person - do it! You will not regret it.

  • Total Anarchy

by Crust Punk on 9/17/19The Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Best show in years. More passion, intelligence, spirit and guts than any of that vapid Ariana Grande crap you're being force fed!

Love the Subhumans. One of my favorite old punk bands. Was an Awesome show and I managed to grab the set list at the end of it. Wish I could've gotten an autograph. Those guys Rule!!!

"Animals don't wear uniforms but they kill as much as you But the army kills for money and animals kill for food It's the basest degredation in the name of what is right Become something you never were and regret it til you die"

  • Subhumans always rock!

I've been a Subhumans fan since high school and they never cease to put on kick-ass shows. Dick Lucas has the energy of a 15-year-old. (I also really love his other band Citizen Fish even more and hopefully they play NYC again soon.) Music Hall of Williamsburg is a pretty good venue, too. I never mind going to a show there. Parking is never terrible and by train, it's really convenient too. Not too big, not too small. And they have $4 PBRs! General admission, no seats. There's a second floor, as well, but that's less fun.
