STROMAE IN CONCERT:
Belgian newcomer Stromae is exploding onto the scene with his catchy dance hits and signature stagewear. Although minimalistic, Stromae's live performances are enthralling as he dances enthusiastically around the stage in his wildly patterned button-downs singing French-language hits like "Papaoutai" and "Alors on danse." Whether he's taking on different stage personas or delighting fans with his soaring voice, Stromae's impressive showmanship proves he's an all-around entertainer. Back on the road, he'll treat fans to one exciting performance after another with his rap-infused electronica on his upcoming tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Brussels, Paul Van Haver, a.k.a. Stromae, got his start at an early age, studying music theory and picking up the drums at age 11. As he got older his musical tastes broadened, and he became more involved in the rap scene by forming the group Suspicion with his friend J.E.D.I. The duo parted ways soon after, leading Stromae to pursue music full-time and release his debut EP Juste un cerveau, un flow, un fond et un mic... in 2007. Since then, he's topped the Ultratop charts in his native Belgium with two hit studio albums, won a number of awards including Best Belgian Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and collaborated with hip-hop giants Kanye West and the Black Eyed Peas. His French-pop dance jams will continue to shake up the rap game as he sets out for a string of hit-filled tour dates.

by RichardGyampo on 9/22/14Terminal 5 - New YorkStromae, destroyed the show in front of a mixture of french/Belgian, and American crowd, he came out, performed all his hit songs and wowed the crowd with a instrumental song and a acapella. The show was amazing, he wowed the crowd, doing a call and response, showing his dancing skills and acting skills. The show was amazing, he display a knack for showmanship that was comic and serious at the same. It was definitely an experience, one that I wouldn't mind repeating!!

A musical genius and a giving performer, he put on an incredible show and challenged the boundaries of the genre for an altogether unforgettable experience.

Stromae is a musical genius, whose music transcends genres and cultures. He gives a tremendously energetic performance , and musically is a font of creativity. The beats, the lyrics , the energy are truly FORMIDABLE...FANTASTIC
