Skip if you listen to the podcast

by Ginny on 12/17/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Wasn’t worth it. Drawn on discussions. Jackie Schimmel was hilarious. Taylor Strekor went on too long. If you listen to the podcast then save your money.

    Not Worth the Money!

by Sassmeyer on 12/16/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Was so excited for the show, but man what a disappointment! Was super scripted vs the podcast taping that I’d expected. Was looking forward to genuine Stassi live, but was far from it. Love VPR but man, this one was not worth the money. The crowd talked through most of the show. We left early along with most of our section! Such a bummer!

Love Stassi, but show needs some work

    by BB on 12/15/19

First off we love Stassi, but my group and I discussed some constructive criticism of the show in hopes to make the show even better!!! 1. We saw the show in “adjacent” San Diego (aka El Cajon). As locals we were surprised anyone would book an event down there. Tour manager should have done more research on the area. 2. ** This one is huge** By the time Stassi actually walked on stage, it was almost an HOUR and a HALF after the original 7 start time. For those of us with kids, it was a big deal and it was frustrating to wait so long. 3. To distract from the delay, they play a video about being late. Then they have Taylor come on. None of us understood her segment. She basically rambled about us a) not knowing who she is and b) her resume. It goes on for a long time also. We all agreed that we would cut this segment entirely. Actually, a simple intro to the show + the part about why she’s Stassis best friend was good, maybe cut the rest. 3. Actually seeing Beau and Stassi interact is amazing and you feel like you are hanging out with them, which as a VPR fan was awesome. Stassi has great stage presence and was built for the spotlight. 4. The crowd was super rowdy at times and would scream at them and completely derail them from what they were doing/ talking about. Not sure how to fix this but it was distracting and annoying, and I felt bad for Stassi. 5. The question segment from the audience was our favorite part. The accents and movie guessing we would cut also. We almost hoped it was more like her traditional podcast. It’s a live podcast show, not a game show? 6. While we were waiting the hour and a half for the show to start, stassis mike came on accidentally for a moment and she said something to the effect of “I’m nervous we’ve never done this part before!”. And then at the end of the show they did a karaoke segment of a Christmas song that seemed like they never practiced it before. Overall, we love stassi and beau and think they have the makings for a great show, but maybe could use a more experienced show manager to make sure that it starts on time and everything runs smoothly throughout the show.

    Lackluster

by Ashley on 12/9/19Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

Went in with no expectations and was still disappointed. Show was only about 10% entertaining, which is sad because I love vanderpump rules and even read her book.

    Nonstop laughter

by Gwen on 10/19/19Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

The venue was amazing! Very easy to get to and leave. I was on the second level and the view was great! The podcast itself was so entertaining and enjoyable! Not knowing what to expect it was funny, engaging, and well thought out. Stassi is just amazing.

    Fun show..

by Gigi on 10/8/19Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

It was a fun time. Stassi and Beau were great in front of a crowd. I wasn't sure what to expect. There was a 15 minute opening by Stassi's friend Taylor which I didn't expect- maybe went on just a bit too long. The negatives- the mic volume was really loud! Perhaps too loud for this smaller theater. The crowd was rowdy- yelling out a lot. Their show seemed to go off the rails at times...for example they would get side tracked and distracted from the topics. But it was still a fun night. Stassi is stunning in person and I wish her and Beau the best. I wanted to buy her book but the merchandise table was out of them which was a bummer.

    A Little Boring

by Alexa on 10/8/19Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

I love Stassi. I always have. I was not sure what to exactly expect going into the show. I knew she was going to be speaking with a few jokes. The whole show was talking about making a show. There were some small laughs. I was hoping for more drama or secrets. Overall the show was boring, but I do enjoy seeing Stassi in person. She is an amazing human.

    Major fail

by Disappointed on 10/8/19Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

My friends and I were so excited to see Stassi live. There was no structure to the show. We basically watched her and her fiancé hang out on stage. When they started guessing movie quite, we’d had enough. We ended up leaving early. I’ve never been so bored and hated something so much to walk out of a show... until now.
