If the phrase "male a cappella group" conjures up an image of students in blue blazers, ties, and khakis singing traditional college songs on ivied campuses... think again. Straight No Chaser (SNC) are neither strait-laced nor straight-faced, but neither are they vaudeville-style kitsch. They have emerged as a phenomenon with a massive fanbase and a long list of accomplishments including 2 RIAA Gold Certified albums, over 1.5 million concert tickets sold, over 1 billion streams on Pandora, and over 2 million albums sold worldwide. Straight No Chaser is the real deal, the captivating sound of nine unadulterated human voices coming together to make extraordinary music that is moving people in a fundamental sense... and with a sense of humor.

We had a group of 17 sitting in three different locations in the theater. Despite the bitter snow outside, we all managed to get in and seated before the show began. As always, Straight No Chaser charmed us all. We enjoyed the performance and songs from the new album, which everyone enjoyed. The staff at the Chicago Theater was also very friendly, helpful and engaged the entire time.
The second half song selection and presentation was better. They appeared tired. It was not well choreographed as it was in the past and the song selection in the first have was not good. A lot of advertising, promotion and more videos. The show was just ok. There has been more focus on the uniqueness of voices, sound and holiday music. We were disappointed.
This is our yearly family outing each Christmas Season, and we so enjoy the show!

My husband and I went to see Straight No Chaser for the first time. I honestly had not heard of the group before, but was just interested in having a date night. We thoroughly enjoyed the show from start to finish! It wasn't until the 3rd song when one of the group members mentioned it, that I realized they were singing A cappella. We had a fun, exciting, engaging, and highly entertaining night. We will now be making this an annual experience!
My husband and I attended the concert at Devos Hall and it was Fantastic 🤩 If you haven't been to one of their shows I strongly suggest that you do that.
I bought a ticket for this show at the last minute and I'm so glad I did! These guys are so talented and they put on a heck of a show. There was even some audience participation, which added another layer of fun to an already exciting show. They performed some stuff off their new album, plus a few favorites like the Christmas Can-Can and 12 days of Christmas! I'm already planning to see them next time they come back. Might be my new holiday tradition!
If you have never been to an SNC performance, please treat yourself, you’ll never be the same! The energy and pure joy of every show I have ever seen, is infectious! You leave with your cheeks hurting from smiling so much! Jerome’s personality, Walt’s composition, Luke Bob’s bass notes ( 🥰), Freedom’s percussion, Tyler’s harmony, Jasper’s dad jokes, Steve’s contagious smile, Seggie’s quick wit, and Mikes genuine heart and solos! Together they make up a night you’ll never forget!! This is the only group around that can turn your day from terrible to terrific! The new HOLIDAY ROAD album is wonderful, and you can get it s autographed after the show!
As always the concert was great. We love Straight No Chaser and hajve attended their concert at DeVos for many years! It is our 1 Holiday concert annually!
This was our fourth year in a row watching this show and it was even better than we could've expected! We can't wait to go again this year.
