Originally formed in Miami by life partners Ali Culotta and Danny Portilla, Stop the Presses has been fusing ska, rocksteady, two tone, new wave, punk, pop, and 60’s girl group style influences together in a way the music industry has never seen before. With a steadily growing and intensely loyal following, Stop the Presses uses complex arrangements and a 4 part vocal harmony section to deliver a fresh new tone, embodying the best case scenario of combining classical training, ingenue-type talent, plus nostalgic charm.

After 3 national tours and a standout performance at Supernova Ska Festival 2021, Stop the Presses now reside in Brooklyn, NY where they are currently recording their third studio album to be released with Jump Up Records in 2022.
