Full of energy and surprising! Worthwhile to see the perfoances!
I saw STOMP in New York 7 years ago. I thought it was a lot better there, but the show at the DPAC was good. I bought the tickets as a present for my mom. She enjoyed it, so that's really all that mattered.
It showed that music can be made from anything! It made you move!!
Great show at a great place. The performers were great & engaging. The wife & I really enjoyed it.
A truly unique experience is had by anyone who views these performers! Using ordinary items in extraordinary ways they have choreographed a fantastic show. A "Must Do" on one's Bucket List, for sure.
I think I was a little bias because I saw the original STOMP in NYC on broadway in 1998. The original concept stemmed from inner city kids banging on anything to make rhythms and sounds on the streets for money. I found it interesting how this was a mediocre imitation of what it thore was originally designed for. Also there was no diversity in this show. The show was based on African American city youths and there were no people of color in this show. This was a far cry from when Savion Glover was in the show. The audience seemed to enjoy it but I was definitely not impressed and I spent a great deal of money for my family and friends to go but we all agreed to leave by intermission. I take nothing away from the performers, they tried and did a good job but it was just didn't meet our expectations. Dr. A
Truly one of the most amazing demonstrations of talent that I have seen in a while - rhythmically, technically, and choreographically! Loved it!
Awesome....non stop. My daughter was on the edge of her seat the whole time!!!! She said it was the best show she has seen and we have been to a lot!
This is the second time I have seen the touring show and all I can say is WOW!!! Never a moment where I wasn't blown away by the raw talent, the items used to make music, the production and most of all the BEAT!!!
This was our 7 year old's first concert/ performance, that he can remember at least! It totally grabbed his attention & he absolutely loved it! Excellent show!
The show was about 1.5 hrs long. No intermission. Very entertaining and creative use of household objects to make music. At times just hands and bodies were used with no other items to make music and rhythm. Very talented group of performers. Alot of energy! The show was funny at times and there is no dialog. That takes talent! They had 8 people. 2 women and 6 men.
3rd time I seen them a loved it. Will go see them again.
The kids loved it as much as my husband and I did. A terrific venue and very entertaining cast!
It is an awesome show. I would definitely recommend this to anybody.
Outstanding performance by this troupe, very talented and most enjoyable to watch. My only regret is my entire family did not see this.
STOMP was sensational!!! Great cast, unique show, audience participation, it had it all!!!
High energy, hysterical, innovative, and spell-binding, STOMP delivered the perfect evening of entertainment for us. This was our introduction to broadway shows and set the bar for all the shows we plan to see in the future.
Will see this over and over again! Perfect for all ages!
Great fun, kids loved it. The performers had such great energy!
