About

The New York, West End and international sensation STOMP is back, and it’s better than ever!

Following sell-out previous seasons, STOMP heads to Australia with its unstoppable energy and ‘pure stage magic’.

Wordless, witty and fun, STOMP has become a global phenomenon over the last 25 years. Its universal languageof rhythm, theatre, comedy and dance has resonated with audiences throughout the world, setting feet stamping, fingers drumming and adrenalin rushing for over 15 million people in 55 countries across five continents.

Eight performers use non-traditional instruments - everything from supermarket trolleys to Zippo lighters, plastic bags to garbage can lids, and even the kitchen sink - to hammer out an explosively feel-good rhythm. Loved by audiences of all ages, this multi-award winning show is now in its 15th year in London’s West End, and its 24th year in New York. Come and see what all the noise is about!

Heard about STOMP for years. Two solid hours of drumming on everything from trash cans, to cigarette lighters, to kitchen sinks, to grocery carts. If you love percussion and have a sense of humor...don't hesitate!

This show was highly entertaining! All of the performers were captivating in their own ways. There was an element of comedy throughout the show that really shined thru. Great for parents, kids and grandparents! Highly recommend!

  • Not what we expected

by JJ on 2/9/25Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5

We went to Stomp after all these years because we were expecting the Old Stomp...It was rather disappointing, good and funny but disappointing. The last 15 minutes of the show were similar to the Old Stomp. On the other spectrum the Actors we phenomenal and so Talented!!

I was not sure what to expect. Brought my grandkids, thinking it was going to be a high energy, loud and engaging show. Did not meet my expectations or theirs. There was one skit where audience participation occurred which helped. I will say there was definitely talent, but just not the level of entertainment we were expecting.

  • Save your money

by Cake. on 2/4/25Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

With training most of the show could be done by well trained children. As a teacher. I know my second grade class could’ve done the beginning, and my sixth grade classes certainly could’ve done the middle of the show. I was very disappointed that at the beginning of the show, they had the musicians playing, and unless you were in the first row overlooking, you couldn’t see them and you lost out on a lot of that entertainment. I will tell you the three parts of the show I enjoyed. I enjoyed the part where they worked in the sand, I enjoyed when they worked upstairs that was truly entertaining, and I enjoyed the very last part where they were on the trash cans and actually making music and that was very enjoyable. Is that enough to bring me back to see it again absolutely not I think it appeals mostly to younger children and older people. A very pedestrian performance at best,

  • Delightful in Every Way

by EAB on 1/29/25Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I loved seeing Stomp so much that I'm willing to write a review! Not something I ever do. I was shocked by how much I enjoyed it. Not only is it fun, engaging, and inspiring, but it is a 100% family friendly, wholesome show. I truly can't think of any other performance that I would recommend as highly as I recommend Stomp. I was delighted.

  • Celebration for all my senses!

    by Steve L on 1/29/25Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

STOMP is an electric show! It’s 125 minutes of non-stop sensory input. The performers were outstanding, and their mastery of dance and unique percussion kept me entertained all performance and wanting more. There were quite a few young kids in the audience who giggled gleefully throughout. It is a fantastic introduction to the theater for kids, and kids at heart! Seen it one in NYC and once in Seattle now. I’d DEFINITELY go again!

The performance was incredible. The total of 8 people are dancing and doing sounds from unexpected ordinary objects in amazing way. 90 min (1.5 hours) without any intermission they kept the audience engaged and entertained.

My first time seeing STOMP! I bought tickets for me and my adult son, for his birthday. He had a blast too - announced it was dope, lol. I'm definitely going back - and taking others to experience this with me! Money well spent!

  • Amazing!

by BT on 1/27/25Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

2 hours of innovative, well choreographed, percussive excitement! I had Stomp when I was young and it is even better than I remember. I would definitely see it again.

  • Stomp was great the theatre and seats were terrible

by Nancy on 11/26/24Palace Theatre Stamford - StamfordRating: 5 out of 5

We were in the first row of the mezzanine and our view of the stage was blocked by railing behind the seats in front of us. Stomp was incredible but the Stamford palace theatre should be ashamed of themselves selling tickets at 70 plus dollars for seats with a blocked view of the stage!
