About

The New York, West End and international sensation STOMP is back, and it’s better than ever!

Following sell-out previous seasons, STOMP heads to Australia with its unstoppable energy and ‘pure stage magic’.

Wordless, witty and fun, STOMP has become a global phenomenon over the last 25 years. Its universal languageof rhythm, theatre, comedy and dance has resonated with audiences throughout the world, setting feet stamping, fingers drumming and adrenalin rushing for over 15 million people in 55 countries across five continents.

Eight performers use non-traditional instruments - everything from supermarket trolleys to Zippo lighters, plastic bags to garbage can lids, and even the kitchen sink - to hammer out an explosively feel-good rhythm. Loved by audiences of all ages, this multi-award winning show is now in its 15th year in London’s West End, and its 24th year in New York. Come and see what all the noise is about!

  • Stomp at the State Theater!

by Matthew on 4/15/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

We attended Stomp at the State Theater in Minneapolis. Doors opened 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. State Theater staff was pleasant and helpful. They have snacks and drinks for sale. The show Stomp started on time and it was funnny, entertaining, and engaging. The entertainers each have there own character or role they play that the audience gets to know as the show moves along. They break it up into many 5 to 10 minute performances which felt like it worked well. They do a great job of interacting with the crowd and encourage some participation. Highly recommend.

  • STOMP delivered

by LoveLiveTheater on 4/15/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I saw STOMP nearly 30 years ago. This performance was as memorable as the first time. More intimate setting at the State theater but that allowed for creative delivery of volume and communication of body language. Highly recommend!

  • Amazing Talent

by Susan on 4/15/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Unbelievable talent! How they do what they do on that stage can only be explained as magical. There were five in my group, age range 70-15. We all enjoyed it very much.

  • STOMP

by Brent on 4/14/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

It was an amazing show so happy I went. Would definitely see it again the venue was great too. I do however wish that they did have more merchandise to buy like a program.

  • A dream come true!

by Percussion Lover on 4/14/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I have always wanted to see Stomp live since I was young and thought I would only be able to if I went to NYC. To my surprise when I saw they will be in Minneapolis, I jumped at the tickets and couldn't wait to bring my teen girls. They were skeptical but as soon as the show started, they were amazed, and so was I! Without dialect, the performers were hilarious and very talented musicians. The use of common household products to make a beat and create a song, was incredible! I can't wait to see them again!

  • Must see show

by Lisa on 4/14/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

U have heard about Stomp before, and decided last minute to buy the tickets. I am SO glad I did. This is a MUST see show. I told everyone the next day at work, but that was the last show for MN When they return I will go again. If bringing younger kids have them have ear muffs it does get a bit loud at times!

  • Beyond Amazing

    by We’re the Miller’s on 4/12/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

  • A-MA-ZING!!

by Gramma on 4/12/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Seen them over 25 years ago with our little family, loved them then. Now, a much bigger family, thought this was still AMAZING!! The youngest, a 9 year old, who normally cannot stay focused or sit still was entranced the entire performance! Would encourage all to see them!

  • Detailed down to the eighth note

by drotert on 4/12/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This is a brilliant performance that I loved as much as when I saw it over 30 years ago. Who would have thought a word-less single-set play could exhibit emotion, humor and several amazed reactions! This was a first-rate cast performed with exacting precision.

  • Awesome!!!!

by Jeanne on 4/12/25State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I couldn’t have seen a better performance. I had a fun time. This is a great event for the entire family. Although kids will have new uses for brooms and mops, and that’s not a bad thing. I highly recommend seeing this performance.

  • Mind Blowing!

The stamina of the eight performers is unmatched! Two straight hours of constant movement using common household items. I thoroughly enjoyed being entertained by the troop named STOMP!

by MariaG on 4/6/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Unbelievable amount of talent. Was amazed that someone could come up with a show like this

  • No need to ever see again.

by Jack Rabbit on 4/6/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 3 out of 5

I brought the kids for the first time, but I have seen Stomp before. The show is ok, but it does get boring after an hour. The brooms that they use kick up dust, so don’t sit in the front rows if you are sensitive.

  • Exciting

by Great full Grandma on 4/6/25Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

My young grandkids love it. They were excited to tell their friends at school. It was funny and we were surprised that everything has a great beat. Would see it again.
