    Wildly creative!

by Ray on 5/22/23Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Copeland remains a master percussionist, but this show highlights his creative and innovative genius! The show challenges you to see things that you thought you knew - in a completely different way. Thoroughly enjoyed the show!

    Awesome

    by Steve-Ooh on 5/22/23Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

I did not know what to expect but the show was great. Stewart presented Police songs with his de-arranged method and the symphony behind him. It was awesome.

Stewart Copeland is the most underrated musician. He was amazing, and his ability to make The Police songs work with an orchestra was incredible! DO NOT miss this show!

    BETTER THAN PERFECT!!!

by Biggest Fans!!!! on 11/10/21Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

The entire experience is one that will stay with all of us for a lifetime!!! My daughter's boyfriend is a drummer and his hero is Stewart Copeland...for his "Sweet 16", she wanted to give him this concert as his gift!!! We travelled from the mountains of East TN to Atlanta for this. Definitely worth the trip, and I can assure you if this is offered again, we will be repeat "roadies"...The only thing I was not happy about, is we were really hoping for a meet and greet (to which I was fully prepared to pay for)...but we did hear there was one for about 7-9 people...a little disappointing (as Rivers is building his own drum set as a replica of Stewart's and would have enjoyed asking questions and getting advice), but by no means did it overshadow the AWESOMENESS of the entire evening!!! Thank you, ASO for the kindness and respect shown to ALL of the guests!!!

An amazing night jamming to Police Tunes w/ the Mighty ASO

by Davis R. on 11/10/21Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Stewart Copeland is the man… plain and simple. This was my first ever experience into the police (any of the three) in a live setting, and Mr. Copeland did not disappoint one bit. The year and a half wait to see this show (due to the pandemic) was so so worth it in the end. I’d like to thank all involved in putting this production together, as it was beautifully managed from start to finish. The only thing I’d say was the Staff at the event was very insistent that we left as soon as the show concluded. This was done for obvious reasons, but it would have been nice to not have been rushed. I was hoping there would be a possibility of a meet and greet potentially at the conclusion of the show, however that hope was not to be. Thank you Stewart and the ASO for an amazing night and experience I will never forget.

    Copeland is the energizer bunny!

by Tag on 11/8/21The Soraya (The Valley's Center for the Performing Arts) - Northridge

Stuart Copeland has not lost any of his energy or skill in bringing to life a unique take of the works of the Police. He electrifies the stage with his enthusiasm and adds an extra flavor to the classic songs of his former group. My only challenge was the professional autographers, after the show, who swarmed him as he was leaving. It would have worked better if security had asked the people wanting an autograph to get in one line and Stuart could sign one item or do one selfie for each person. That way, true fans don't miss out, and graphers don't shove all kinds of items in his face.

Great to see SC in a non-arena setting

by Jules on 11/7/21The Soraya (The Valley's Center for the Performing Arts) - Northridge

Playing the Police catalog. He was wildly entertaining, the performers were solid. I only wish that there was a better mix, only heard strings when the amplified instruments were paused, wanted to hear more nuances. Other than that, it was very enjoyable.

This was my 2nd time at the concert hall and this time was just as beautiful. The show was epic and the grounds are beautiful. Saw Stewart there in 2016 for Ben Hur.

Overall wonderful venue, great performances BUT...

by David Laguna Niguel on 11/7/21The Soraya (The Valley's Center for the Performing Arts) - Northridge

The sound was not properly mixed during the first half of the concert. Specifically, the orchestra members were not clearly audible, especially notable when they stood for solos. Fortunately, the second half of the concert was well mixed so that all performers could be distinctly heard. The second half of the concert was A+. The concept and overall execution for this concert was A+

    Not Worth It

by Billy Sullivan on 11/7/21The Soraya (The Valley's Center for the Performing Arts) - Northridge

I love Stewart's playing. He's been a MAJOR influence on my career as a drummer. But, his ego is in the way now. I'm older and I'm there for the music... Here's a news flash for ya Stewart... you don't put a drum set IN FRONT of an orchestra. There were 12 strings on the stage... I didn't hear one of them ever. In typical Stewart fashion the songs were played too fast... Especially for what appeared to be the arrangements... I don't know. (I couldn't hear them) I understand there was little rehearsal and it showed. Stewart... if you're gonna put the drums out front, don't mic them. Your guitars and bass should be with you back by the horns. Maybe this would have helped... the songs are why I went... they're not the problem. It's how we hear them.

Must see for diehard Police fans

by Bagger on 11/7/21The Soraya (The Valley's Center for the Performing Arts) - Northridge

Terrific show. Stewart is one of the greats and if you’re a big fan go see this show. Significant others might not get it when you bring them in tow. So much talent on that stage.

    Virtuosos

by StevenFlecktone on 3/30/15Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

This performance was amazing. All 5 musicians were masters of their craft and blew the crowd away. Stewart is one of the all time greats on drums and Parker was a machine. The violinist and bassist stole the show in my opinion. Song selection was unique and interesting and the overall experience was fantastic. I would strongly urge any love of improve and beautiful music to attend this show.

    Stewart Copeland - special treat!

by JanellaK on 3/30/15Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

We couldn't imagine exactly what this concert would be but we were not disappointed! The musical mix was very different and enjoyable. The proof of the audience appreciation was the band doing a double encore! Yes - they actually did a second encore simply performing one of the numbers they'd already done on stage. What a treat!

Stewart Copeland Rocks- Even Without His Drums

by HighCampJen on 11/24/10The GRAMMY Museum - Los Angeles

Who knew the man behind the drums in The Police was such an funny guy? The GRAMMY Museum is an excellent facility, and their special events are fantastic. An Evening With Stewart Copeland was no exception. Listening to Stewart Copeland talk about his childhood abroad, founding The Police, scoring films, and his personal philosophies on music and parenting was highly entertaining. He's a great storyteller and has a fantastic sense of humor. Mr. Copeland didn't peak during his days in the Police, and I hope we'll hear more from him in the future. I'm lucky to have been there.
