Comedian Steve Treviño is "America's Favorite Husband." He can "speak wife fluently," he never calls "the guys" for help on a home project, and he knows better than to "make his own decisions," since decision-making is a privilege reserved solely for his wife, Renae.
His relatable approach affirms his status as one of the country's premiere stand-up comedians, viewed over 300 million times, selling-out shows across the nation, and amassing over 3.4 million total social media followers.
Today, the comedian has had stand-up specials with Amazon, NETFLIX, Showtime to name few. His first Showtime special, Grandpa Joe's Son, staked out a spot in the Nielsen Top 20 when it first premiered. From the success of that special, he funded, produced, and shot his 2014 NETFLIX hit Relatable. To promote the special, he uploaded a clip titled "When Your Wife Comes Home From Shopping." It exploded, generating over 56 million views on Facebook alone and paving the way for his other viral clips like "When You Ask Your Wife If She Wants McDonald's" (21 million views). In 2018, Trevino released the follow-up special, Steve Trevino 'Til Death on Amazon. In 2022, he once again self-produced his fifth special, I Speak Wife that released on YouTube garnering over 4 million views. Steve recently filmed his highly anticipated sixth special at The Tobin Center in San Antonio, which was directed by Renae Treviño. The special will premiere on Netflix in early 2024.
In honor of Treviño's achievements in entertainment and comedy, the city of San Antonio presented the comedian with their prestige Emissary of the Muses certificate on November 24th, 2023.
In 2020, he and his wife, Renae, unveiled a joint weekly podcast entitled "Steve Treviño and Captain Evil." On the podcast, the couple navigate the treacherous topics of relationships, family and stand-up comedy. All while trying to stay married. Since launching, the podcast has generated over 1.5 million views/streams.
He regularly raises money for Helicopters for Heroes, an organization benefiting veterans, for whom he helped raise over $1.5 million in the past two years.
Steve lives in New Braunfels, TX with Captain Evil and their son and daughter. He will be kicking off his new tour, The Good Life in 2024.
First comedy show ever. This was the best! The 2 who warmed up the crowd were so good. However, once Steve Trevino came out…. He was absolutely amazing. All his material is relatable. It really hits home. Full of laughter! Had a great time.

Steve Trevino is a ”Home grown” talent from the Coastal Bend in Texas that hits it out of the park EVERY TIME he takes the mic! He had the crowd rolling in the aisles from his takes on everything from marriage, kids and EVEN Felipe (his ONE remodeling employee) Captain Evil (his wife) has at least 3 helpers for their home. If you’ve watched any of his specials (Prime, Netflix and even YouTube). You’ll want to experience this humor in person! He’s big on the funny and adds some well placed cuss words for effect. ;) for ages 12+ Don’t wait when you see tickets for sale in your area. He tends to SELL OUT.

Steve Trevino was AMAZING! The venue was small and the seats were super small and crowded. But still worth it.
This is our 3rd time attending Steve's comedy show and we continue to enjoy his material, delivery, and just the person he is. My wife and I appreciate his love for our veterans because both of our fathers fought in Vietnam and returned as wounded warriors. We bought several koozies in support of Steve's mission to support our veterans. We will continue to attend Steve's shows in the Coastal Bend area and hopefully next time we get to see 'Captain Evil'. We attended the Mesquite Pizza show several years back and my wife loved meeting Renae in person. Thank you both and see you next time!
I will continue to buy tickets for Steve Trevino's shows. I really had a blast and laughed so much that my face and stomach hurt but a good hurt. I also, appreciate his generosity to all the veterans especially the help he's giving back to his hometown. Steve and his wife are amazing. God bless them and their beautiful family.
Comedians were great. Seating was good in grand tier. Only issue was the sound. We had difficulty understanding and hearing the whole time. I think need to improve sound system.

I am a big guy and an area with wider seats and more leg room would be awesome. The show was great. Being a fan and this being the second time I have seen him it was great. Keep doing what you’re doing Steve. God Bless!
Hilarious..this isn't a comedy show it's a documentary for all of us in a relationship with a Latina.. we laughed so hard and I don't know how many times I said "that's you"but it was a lot
Steve is absolutely HILARIOUS! My husband and I watched him and we literally couldn’t catch our breath from laughing and crying so hard! Definitely worth seeing!
All in all an amazing performance by Steve Trevino. He explained beforehand that this was new material we were going to hear, so we were in for a treat. I haven't laughed that hard in some time. So much so that my stomach was starting to hurt from all the laughing I was doing. Center Stage was an amazing venue, just the right size for a medium size crowd so you don't feel overwhelmed. Trevino provided my wife and I an amazing comedic experience that was completely relatable as parents and a couple in a 25 year relationship. He is certainly an act we will go see again when he comes back to Atlanta or we happen to be in a town he is performing at.
Steve Trevino is hilarious. I laughed until I cried. The guy that came out before him was vulgar and had a nasty mouth.

Recommend seeing Steve Trevino. Watch his comedy specials too from the past if not known to you but he is getting more popular. Has a great charity for the military also. 96% of the money given goes to the people who need it
The theatre was gorgeous. Our seats were amazing (pit seats). Steve is a wonderful person and shows that in the way a supports the troops and raises awareness. He is also hilarious. Non stop laughs.
It was our first time seeing Steve in person. We laughed the entire time. We appreciate real and organic comedy . Where the comedian is true to himself and his style of comedy without feeling the need to water it down or censor himself. Will definitely have to see him again when he comes to Knoxville.
