Today, the comedian has had stand-up specials with Amazon, NETFLIX, Showtime to name few. In March 2024, Steve released his first Netflix Original special, Steve Treviño: Simple Man. Steve lives his life and reports it to you. He tells us what it's like living with a Type-A Virgo wife, squabbling over containers and pizza parties. Steve shares nostalgic tales of his dad's broken-down truck, an unlikely love story and how to face the challenges of raising spoiled kids today. As a husband, father and son, Steve is just doing the best he can as a Simple Man. The special was filmed at the Tobin Center in San Antonio and directed by his wife Renae Treviño. Simple Man hit The Top Ten TV Shows streaming on Netflix the first week it premiered, and has since garnered over 100 million minutes watched.
In 2012, Steve's first Showtime special, Grandpa Joe's Son, staked out a spot in the Nielsen Top 20 when it first premiered. From the success of that special, he funded, produced, and shot his 2014 hit special, Relatable, which landed on Netflix. To promote the special, he uploaded the clip, "When Your Wife Comes Home From Shopping." It exploded, generating over 56 million views on Facebook alone and paving the way for his other viral clips like "When You Ask Your Wife If She Wants McDonald's" (21 million views). In 2018, Trevino released the follow-up special, Steve Trevino 'Til Death on Amazon Prime. In 2022, he once again self-produced his fifth special, I Speak Wife that released on YouTube garnering over 6 million views.
In honor of Treviño's achievements in entertainment and comedy, the city of San Antonio presented the comedian with their prestige Emissary of the Muses certificate on November 24th, 2023.
In 2020, he and his wife, Renae, unveiled a joint weekly podcast entitled "Steve Treviño and Captain Evil." On the podcast, the couple navigate the treacherous topics of relationships, family and stand-up comedy. All while trying to stay married. Since launching, the podcast has generated over 1.5 million views/streams.
He regularly raises money for Helicopters for Heroes, an organization benefiting veterans, for whom he helped raise over $1.5 million in the past two years.

Pros: Steve was awesome! Had us laughing so hard we were in tears. Bar was available and drinks tasted good. Plenty of places to eat in the venue. Cons: Drinks were overpriced. Venue was hot, seats were crowded and uncomfortable. One bigger guy next to me was literally sitting on me. No space to move even a little.
This was the first time I attended this venue. Our seats were great! The employees were really friendly and helpful. Steve Trevino was fantastic! I have never laughed so hard at a comedy show. I would see him perform again in a heartbeat!
Relatable is an understatement, since I found him and started watching him, I couldn’t wait to see him live. Absolutely worth ever penny and overall great night!
Great show! Steve Trevino never missed a beat. I loved towards the end he thanked veterans, police, firefighters, nurses and said how grateful he is for his life and our amazing country!

The comedian preceding Steve was very good but the performance by Steve Trevino was outstanding. I'm not one, as a rule, to laugh out loud but couldn't help myself on several occasions. Would enjoy seeing him again. But one of the highlights for me was learning of his charity, Helicopters for Heroes; was so glad to hear him honoring Veterans and the military in general. All in all, a wonderful experience!

What a great show! Steve is not only funny but poignant and insightful! Watched a lot of his comedy on line and he's even funnier in person. Would definitely see him again.
Very short show Maybe 15min of Steve Jokes. Rest of the time was Sales, Promotions, Business. I understand that he need to make money but come on. He did a "different show" because didn't sold out :/ his words not mine. That's not fair for the fans. Also false advertisement about buying merchandise to meet him and get a pic with him. We were very excited about this event but honestly not expect my expectations at all. If we go to see him again I will definitely not pay as much on tickets Wasn't worth it :( I will keep some other details to myself to be nice.

I stumbled upon this comedian by just browsing around and had never really actually watched any of his videos. I was a little bit nervous going to see him because of that. Let me tell you right now this man is hilarious. You can tell. He loves his wife and his wife loves him but damn he is funny when he describes his relationship between them …… he is definitely worth going to watch. He’s super funny and it looks like a very good family man.
Opener did a great job and Steve absolutely delivered with his routine. Saw some bits that were from the podcast and still found him hilarious. Wife and I had a great time for a date night.
Pictures of his family are shown on stage before the show. He has a non profit he shares info about which I love. Whilst all the video blurbs we watched before the show were hysterical, this new material is just as funny! He works hard to share the funny side of life being a dad and husband, whilst also being very clear about his love for his family and what his purpose here is. Absolutely would go again.
Took my mom, sister and brother in-law to see Steven Trevino. It was their first comedy show and we all couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards! Laughed the hole time, tears fell it was amazing! Would definitely see another show!
