About

Steve-O has become a household name and it all started when he snatched a video camera from his father's closet when he was fifteen years old.  From there he started producing homemade skateboarding videos featuring dangerous stunts mixed with comical behavior. Eventually, Steve-O's videos made it into the hands of Jeff Tremaine (Jackass Creator/Director/Producer) who was working with Johnny Knoxville to create a stunt based reality show. The rest is history.  MTV aired the first season of JACKASS in 2000.  In 2001, Steve-O launched his own "Steve-O Don't Try This At Home Tour", establishing himself as an accomplished stage performer, at venues throughout the U.S. and in a dozen countries. When the JACKASS TV series ended in 2002, the team moved on to JACKASS: THE MOVIE, released by Paramount in October of that year.  Shortly thereafter, Steve-O and fellow JACKASS alum, Chris Pontius, were given a spin-off show entitled WILDBOYZ, which aired on MTV and MTV2 and lasted four seasons. In 2006, Paramount released JACKASS: NUMBER 2 in theatres and Steve-O continued to thrill audiences with his outrageous stunts. In 2009 he competed on ABC's hit show, DANCING WITH THE STARS, and lasted six weeks, despite an injury and having virtually no dancing ability whatsoever.

It was such an awesome, laid back time at this show! It was a stand up comedy routine and some stunts! It was all really fun and funny! Wee Man and Preston Lacy were both there also. And Steve-O was such a down-to-earth, nice guy and took pictures with everyone who wanted one! I would definitely recommend this show to everybody! I want to go back if he comes to LA again!

I took my son to the show since Stev-o is one of my son's favorite people. I have seen the Jack Ass movies and wasn't looking forward to the show. I am 68 yrs old and my son 20 yrs. I was really surprised at how much fun I had and really enjoyed the antics that Stev-o goes through with his past life portayals. I would recommend this comedy act to anyone who is open enough to go. Lastly, Stev-o made himself available to the whole audience throughout the show.

I didn't know what to expect at this show, but it was better than I thought it would be! Totally my kind of perverted humor....loved it. Steve-O was awesome enough to take pictures with everyone after the show. If you like Jackass and have a chance to go to this show, DO IT! Steve-O has some very interesting stories....i wish there had been more time to hear more of them.

Steve-O was a lot funnier than I expected. He does a heck of a stand-up and adds some of his expected antics at the end! It's amazing to see how well he does considering the challenges he has dealt with in life fighting addiction. My wife and enjoyed the show and would recommend anyone who has been curious about checking it out to do so.

  • Steve O is a funny man!

by OtisBrizz on 9/5/11Pheasant Run - St CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Referred to the wild pranks and behind the scenes stories of them but he has moved on to being a great comedian without the staples! Did some "tricks" that were awesome but not the kind that made you cringe....although some of his jokes did... in the good way. So proud that he has been sober for so long. It has not taken away from his humor at all!!!

ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!! Plus, he takes pictures with everyone and signs anything you want- total sweetheart!

Between the 3 comedians.... I cannot possibly pick a favorite. Although there were a few moments that were awkward to be watching with my mother.... the night was worth it! Highly recommend it!

  • It was an OK show

    by danh111081 on 4/21/11Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

His comedy was written by somebody else, at least it appeared that way. His delivery was terrible. He only did a few stunts that weren't even that crazy (let's face it, we expect crazy from him). It was cool to see him live, but would I ever see him again? NO He did meet his fans after the show for pics and autographs, which I always applaud when celebs do this. Appreciative.

I didn't know what to expect when I heard Steve-O was coming to the HuKeLau. I love him on tv so I had to buy the tickets. He is the clown of all clowns. I had a blast at the show and YES I would definitely go see him again. With no hesitation. Good job Steve-O and good luck.

This was his first show & he was awesome! Hysterically entertaining. Conservative people beware - some of his material was extremely raunchy.

I liked the humor Steve-O used in his act. I like his story telling humor. I also thought his openning act Chris Carpenter was super funny and seemed like a great local comedy. I'm defintely going to check out when he is playing next.

Oh Poor Poor Steve -O... Stand up is not your forte. The show is, Un-natural, completley scripted, and not funny. We left after 30 minutes.
