It was a tough night because one guy was unable to be there (vehicle accident), and I never heard mention of the girl group. The others were rushed and had to fill in...and that carried over. Still funny; the last guy was hilarious! There was a disconnect, and it felt like it was because of circumstances beyond their control (catching flights, etc.). I felt that the political jokes weren't carrying well (not sure why, but I struggled to understand what they were saying sometimes...like the sound wasn't great, especially on the overhead and when there was music with the voice), so they went to their mainline jokes. Maybe this wasn't intentional, but it saved the show! Also, I realized how I had never really noticed staging before until it was unattractive, which this was. Could have been better, but again, I felt like a lot of it was beyond their control. They came thru as pros and did well. Another thing: poor turnout, and I think this was due to poor marketing. I only found out about it two days earlier via Facebook, and that was by accident. With all the people who came to the Trump rally at the Ford Center, I think they could have filled the place with better promo. Also, several folks left at intermission. Still...we were in tears laughing by the end.
