About

Counting nearly 3 billion music streams to his name, Steve Aoki is a true visionary. Billboard described the 2x-GRAMMY-nominated music producer, artist, fashion designer, entrepreneur, NFT futurist and Dim Mak Records founder as "one of the most in-demand entertainers in the world."  A Guinness World Record holder for the "Most Traveled Musician in a Single Calendar Year," Aoki has performed at nearly every top festival around the world, including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Fuji Rock Festival, Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival.

As a globally successful cross-genre solo artist, Aoki has collaborated with an impressive list of varied artists, including BTS, Maluma, Snoop Dogg, Linkin Park, blink-182, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Uzi Vert, 2 Chainz and Daddy Yankee, on top of having released three Platinum singles, six Gold singles, and over ten Top 10 radio records. After unveiling four Neon Future albums, Aoki's highly-anticipated next album HiROQUEST: Genesis is coming out September 16th, featuring collaborations with Taking Back Sunday, Mod Sun, Kane Brown and more.

Aoki approaches each new endeavor with the same sense of dedication he's put into his past achievements, including the Grammy-nominated Netflix documentary I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2016) and his memoir BLUE: The Color of Noise(2019). In 2012, he also founded THE AOKI FOUNDATION to support organizations in brain science and its research. His influential record label Dim Mak, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021, is known for being a launching pad for the careers of prominent acts like Bloc Party, The Chainsmokers, Bloody Beetroots, The Kills, Zedd and Diplo. Most recently, Aoki created the A0K1VERSE, an NFT membership community, powered by the Passport, that welcomes his fans to both virtual and real-world experiences. Aoki is also executive producer for "American Hiro," a series in development with FX Networks directed by Jon M. Chu, chronicling the life of his father, Hiroaki "Rocky" Aoki, the legendary entrepreneur and daredevil businessman who created the Benihana empire. In whatever space Steve Aoki enters, the multi-hyphenate innovator continues to set trends and inspire creativity on a global level.

    Good show.

by imarailbreaker on 3/19/23Big Night Live - Boston

Dance floor too crowded and the artist was more interested himself than the music, it seemed, but the energy was good and if you could dance, you had a good time.

    Everything is so fun

    by N. C. on 3/18/23

His entry was everything. I had so much fun but the sad thing is I went home a little bit earlier before he did his stripping part and also missed out the cake me part.😭 but overall the set was cool. Would go again.

by Jenna on 3/15/23Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Decided I needed a break from nursing school and bought tickets without really knowing the other Djs. They were all amazing. Totally worth it. The venue was awesome too. Bill graham civic auditorium in SF. Coat check, bar, you can take drinks inside the stage area. Bathrooms were clean.

    Epic

by DT on 3/15/23Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

It was so much fun! There were plenty of bathrooms, the hall was as clean as can be, staff were fairly nice, lines for drinks wasn't too bad, and Steve Aoki's performance was so much fun and super epic with all the cakes. I highly recommend his concert.

    FANTASTIC

by Soutlaw on 3/14/23Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

If you are considering going to an Aoki concert, just do it. I don’t know what I was expecting but it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The concert may possibly have been the best show I have ever been to live. 10/10 would recommend, just do it.

Aoki doesn't quite cut the cake

by just a dude on 3/14/23Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Steve Aoki was a bucket list DJ for me and my friends and after seeing him for the first time, we were able to cross him off our list. Sadly, Aoki is just that, a name on a list. Being a household name and popular in the EDM scene, Aoki dishes up the usual pop DJ format, 30 to 45 seconds of music followed by talking, crowd interaction and melodic slow downs. Aoki did drop some bangers but as soon as they pull you in, they stop shortly after, never really letting you sink into his set. The visuals were somewhat cool but mostly consist of images of the DJ himself which gets a bit self centered and boring; would much rather have that money go towards lasers. The experience was mostly made magical by attending with close friends as well as sharing some PLUR moments with the strangers around us. Overall, Steve Aoki isn't half as sweet as the cake he dispenses but then again, few big names are. 2/5 would not pay to see again.

We could not find the time line of events so we got there late. It would be nice if the lineup and times were displayed.

    Short and Too Sweet

by Annie on 3/14/23Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Show was doing good and then BAM, it ended abruptly at 11:30pm! Just for him to catch his second gig at Omnia in Vegas? Wish he closed it more with a bang or an encore....

    PHENOMENAL PERFORMANCE!

by Jessie on 2/27/23Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

Timmy Trumpet came out to open for Steve Aoki and had a ridiculous amount of energy and really got the crowd pumped up, and Aoki just added to the fire when he hit the stage. I came to this concert with a group of friends to celebrate my 26th birthday and I keep reliving the night over and over again! DEFINITELY want to see him again the next time he is in Chicago!
