Was advertised as current and former players being available. There was not a single current player there. I didn't even know the majority of the former players! Very misleading advertising. You had to sign up for kids to do the field events, and it started raining so they didn't let them on the field. An OK event if you live close by, but we drove 3.5 hours one way and wouldn't attend again. Very disappointed!
The events on the field were somewhat disorganized. My son was looking forward to the kicking event. When it was his groups turn to rotate there for some reason there was a change and the group was sent to another site. He did not get to kick. His groups time frame ran out......Disappointing! The lines for signing were not monitored. People constantly jumped ahead. There needs to be a couple of current star players....A complaint I heard from several people.

I took my daughter, my dad, my brother, and his family of 5 to this event. I drove 8 hours to get there and it was WELL worth the time and expense. Everyone working was friendly and the attractions were fantastic!

The players that were signing autographs were not current and not really big name . There needs to be active starters to make the autograph portion of the day worthwhile.
Awesome family day. Steeler fans are the best! Lines for autographs and locker room tours were long, we waited an hour and a half for pounce, foster and Andy russells auto's. so worth it and we had a great time talking with other fans. Parking and food easy. Loved it will definitely be back!!!
Fan Blitz was AWESOME this year, plenty of unanounced retired and active players showed up for the GREATEST FANS IN ALL SPORTS. It was better orginized this year, keping the players basically all in one area which made it possible to get alot of autographs And the players were more then willing to take the time for a quick picture with the fans as well as sign something GREAT GREAT TIME!!!!!!!
The experience would have been so much better if more players had been available, both past and present....there were only and handful on site and the lines were enormously long.
A MUST FOR ANY STEELERS FANS!!!!...They do it every April after the draft.
had a great time love to go to a game n sit in the press box i would drive the 4 1/2 hours for the thrill
One of the best days of my life!!! I had the opportunity to meet so many past and present players, see all 6 Super Bowl trophies, be on the field, and see the locker room! I can't wait to attend this event next year!
This was our first trip to the Fan Blitz and our first time to visit Heinz Field. Everyone we met there was so nice. It was absolutely amazing. I loved how child oriented it was. My husband, myself, our 2 year old son, and our 8 year old nephew all had a blast! We got there early and were able to go in the locker room first thing. Later, that line was so long! We only stood in line for 1 set of autographs (about an hour and a half - but we went about 20 minutes before the set we wanted would be there) because they kids got tired of standing after that. So much to do, there was never a dull moment! Many memories were made!
It was great. Well organized and alot of fun. There were more than 40 Steeler players old and current there to meet and sign autographs at different times throughout the day. The kids who signed up to go on the field got to do drills for 1.5 hrs. Parking cost was reasonable and there were food stands open inside. Locker room was open as was the press box.
Decided to surprise my 6 year old son with this event! He thought we were going "antique shopping"! LOL He got the surprise of his life, being that he's a huge Steeler fan! I love the fact that we got to go ON the field and IN the locker room. We all left tired, and happy!
Overall excellent experience. It was my sons (9 yrs old) first time in Pittsburgh and at Heinz Field. He absolutely loved it. Seeing the stadium, being able to step onto the field, meeting new and old players, going in the locker room and trying on helmets of current Steelers made the 8 hrs in the car (roundtrip) totally worth it.
Great for kids 8 - 14. I have a 3 and 4 year old. Not too much for them to do.
Lines were way too long to do pretty much anything. Will not waste my time next year.
