Great show! A real feel-good atmosphere and great music to dance to!

Steel Pulse in incredible. Those guys put on the most solid reggae show ive ever seen. Everyone in the band is incredible with their instrument (especially percussion) BUT that little HOB Anaheim venue was way oversold, and therefore, it wasnt a chill enviroment; too overcrowded and hectic; this obviously doesnt suite reggae music. Too many Bros more interested in showing their tattoos drinking at the bar and impressing some chic than getting into the music. VERDICT: Steel Pulse Rocks despite the over packed venue!!!

Opening acts were lame college-boyz trying to be rasta - combo Extreme, Ska and rock - little roots; First Half of Steel Pulse set was great - clear vocals and sound -- the second half seemed like a fight to the end = muddled lyrics and little passion. Have seen them before -- and seemed like a lost opportunity after being away from Boston for 30 years. Still love them, but disappointed.

Let me preface this with the fact that I grew up listening to Steel Pulse and love seeing them perform. Sadly, thier age is starting to show. The music was good but they tried to spice up the performance with technology.... and that just isn't raggae

Whole show was FABULOUS! Life long fan of SP and a new fan of Spiritual Rez. Missed Lionize so no comment on them. Wish SP would come to town more often!

First off, Spiritual Rez put on an excellent show. They pumped up the energy and got the irie vibes flowing before our favorite reggae band ever took the stage. This concert had all the makings of a classic Steel Pulse show. From the opening prerecorded band introduction, to the mashup of classic riddims launching the band into the first song 'pon Mr. David Hines' stage entrance, to the sweet, sweet vocal harmonies and keyboard counterpoint this was the band at it's best. Amazing that after almost 4 decades of recording and touring the world these guys still have it in them. Please come back sooner than 30 years next time my Rasta friends!!!!

steel pulse and spiritual rez are awesome live bands to see

Steel Pulse are the hardest working group in Reggae Land. I love their very personal stage presence. They love what they do and convey that love. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MUSIC is indeed one of their songs.

Steel Pulse band continues to inspire. The band flows together and the music is sublime. Top notch musicians. The delivery was smooth and enjoyable. I wish Steel Pulse many more years of good fortune. Their lyrics are socially relevant.

This was the first time, I had seen Steele Pulse and been in the House of Blues in San Diego. We had tickets for the upstairs area and we had a handicapped person with us. and we were not told about the top not having handicapped seating. But, the staff was more than helpful and gave us seating down below in the GA area and that was the best. We were directly in front of the stage above the crowd and that made the show even more enjoyable. Except for the air, I think that it could've been turned up a little more. Over all the show was great!

Steel Pulse was amazing. Front row was awesome. I loved the entire groups performance. And so did my boyfriend. One of thee greatest expierences ever!

When Steel Pulse opened for Bob Marley probably 30 years ago or more, Marley told his band to watch Steel Pulse because they gave 100% to every performance every night. Times have changed, but Steel Pulse's commitment to a high quality show has not. No one makes better reggae music and no one puts on a better concert. By the way, I have been to many, many reggae shows over the years, I have heard a whole lot of reggae DJ's spin, and I have to say, I loved Tribe of Kings and I would love to see them open the next time I see Steel Pulse or any other artist.

Steel Pulse is consistently one of the best performing reggae bands of all time. Their professionalism combined with the amazing sound and intimacy of the House of Blues venue made last nights show unforgettable. A must see....

I have seen Steel Pulse many times and this would have to be the best! They were jammin!!!!!
