The act was really good. Several of the musicians were outstanding and overall the show itself was really well done.
The venue is attractive, but every time I attend a show at the State Theater I remember why I don't go there very often! It is loud, people milling around all the time and with general admission and a sold out show, we were left standing with several dozen other people who couldn't find seating. Obviously the venue knows how many seats it has to sell, but the patrons who want extra elbow room have coats and jackets "holding" seats for their invisible spouses. I was not impressed! The Beatles message, "All we need is Love" rings strong still today, but people haven't changed one bit!
