About

With almost 5 BILLION global streams, visionary cinematic rock collective STARSET has been rapidly growing a devoted global fan base, captivated by their immense songs and groundbreaking live shows framed by a futuristic, dystopian narrative that blurs the lines of science fact and fiction. Lead by enigmatic maestro and PHD candidate Dustin Bates, the RIAA-Platinum certified act have collaborated with Breaking Benjamin on new single "Waiting On The Sky To Change". The combination of the two powerhouses has delighted fans, gaining over 15 million song streams and a #I rock radio single. The big debut sets the scene for the band to make their way to the masses with the launch of their highly-awaited next album campaign in 2023.

  • Dynamic!

by Annie on 11/13/21Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was awesome! All bands sounded great and the mix was good (which is pretty uncommon these days). The set was really cool and dynamic, an absolute experience!

  • Out of This World!

by Badger on 11/12/21House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Starset is a must-see for anyone who enjoys their music or simply wants to have a rockin’ good time at a concert. They really know how to put on an amazing performance and show the audience a superb time! I can’t wait for them to come back into town because I’ll definitely be going again.

  • Starset is a No-Miss Concert Experience

by The Social Regressive on 11/11/21Templelive Fort Smith - Fort SmithRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I heard a Starset song for the first time a couple of months ago, and we immediately started listening to their whole library. When I found out they were playing two hours away I bought tickets on the sly and surprised my wife. We LOVED this concert. I hadn't heard of All Good Things, the opening act, and they were tight. The lead singer had a killer rock voice that didn't quit, and the lead guitar seemed like he was having the time of his life. Starset played for about an hour and a half: a professional multimedia experience that maintained its energy all the way through. Dustin Bates was on fire, nailing every high note and emotional moment. The seven musicians played well together. Tons of energy. It was cool to see a dedicated keyboard player on stage; he elevated the performance over the live videos I've seen. The drummer was the star performer in my opinion, carving up some of the simpler block-chord sections with complex rhythms. The light show and costumes set the dystopian tone perfectly. My only criticism was the choice of the second band. The simplicity and offensive tone of The Word Alive brought down the energy in the hall significantly. Their mix was all wrong, but I don't think a good mix would have appreciably improved their performance. Everything they said and played seemed forced and awkward, like a sugared-up 5-year-old spitting curses trying to motivate an army. It didn't work. I would recommend a Starset concert to a wide audience, including older children, but skip The Word Alive. That might be a good time to go buy a Starset t-shirt in the lobby.

  • Hundreds of shows in my lifetime - this was easily the best!

by JS on 11/10/21Templelive Fort Smith - Fort SmithRating: 5 out of 5

I cant even express how great of a show this was. Totally up'd their production game, added a new member (DJ/Electronics). This whole thing was spectacular. Sad there arent more shows close to me to catch another before they head off to Europe.

  • Starlet was great, 10/10! But warmup…

    by c4st on 11/8/21Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Please, provide warmup bands with qualified sound techs. They were so loud… all we could hear is loud noise, that was hurting our ears. We could feel basses, but couldn’t hear them. And of course we couldn’t hear any words of their songs… they almost made us leave show before actual artists came to the stage. But thanks to Starset team, they were incredible! By sound, by visual, by everything! Ps, health check was hypocritical. Vaccine, sadly, doesn’t prove you don’t have COVID. So you should require tests from everybody or from nobody, from my sight it was a scum to make extra 20$ per person.

  • Good but a few issues

by Liv on 11/8/21Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The biggest issue was with the sound system bass. It was set WAY too high for the entire event, so it was hard to hear the music and the singers over the bass. I thought it'd be fixed in the 30 minute break after each opening band, but it never was. The second issue was with the theatre lights. For almost the entirety of one opening band, they were programmed to shine extremely bright LEDs directly into the faces of the people in the balcony! It was a very uncomfortable and even painful experience that just wouldn't end until their 30-45 minute performance was over. I can tolerate getting light in my faces for a little bit but that was too much, and they really should've considered that there would be people there when they programmed them. The last issue was when Starset used water vapor machines during their show. There was too much vapor for such a small venue, and it quickly became hard to see the stage. A little ventilation would've been nice. Besides those things, the event was fine. I had a great time and will try to go again the next time Starset is in town.

  • Amazing!

by Kam on 11/8/21Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I've been waiting ages for any concert but especially this one and it was well worth the wait. Thank you so much to all the bands, and I'm so glad I got my jacket signed by Starset it was amazing!

  • Long wait, but worth it

    by Retr0casT on 11/8/21Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

We had to wait almost an hour to get in, even if we showed up on time. The VIP experience absolutely worth it. The concert itself was breathtaking. The atmosphere inside was insane and all 3 banda performed their best. Had a really good time.

  • Awesome!!!!!!

  • A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!

    by K. A. on 10/2/20Rating: 5 out of 5

Oh my goodness! I cannot describe enough the talent, authenticity, amazing vocals, and awesome sound that this band creates! I found them when I was in high school many years ago, and saw one of their Live performances last year in October, and to this day I get hyped up just by thinking of how immersive and real it was. This band has truly inspired me to come out of my shell and live life to the fullest and not care what other people think. They make you go outside of the box of reality that this day and age traps you in, and you literally feel alive! I listen to their music everyday, for I will Never tire of listening to their power and heartfelt songs. I cannot wait to see them Live again once this whole “shabang” is over. These guys literally ROCK!!!

  • Starset killed it again

    by A. H. on 11/5/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Thanks for another great demonstration! The seating sucks at the venue and my short self could barely see. But that's typical for me. And why i don't do many shows.

  • Starset 'Divisions Tour' w/ Palisades, Hyde, A Brilliant Lie

by Ted on 11/4/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Starset is incredible. Their performances, aka demonstrations, are second to none. The accompanying bands fit perfectly. Having never been to an indoor concert at Express Live I was a bit skeptical. Turns out, the venue is pretty solid for an indoor concert. The sound was clear. There were plenty of viewing locations (even if you are not a pit person). My only complaint is the weird echo sound when Dustin would go for a high note. It was really odd. Not sure if it was something he was doing on purpose or if it was just a sound issue. Would definitely recommend seeing a show at this venue.

  • Amazing as always

by Shannon on 11/4/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

As always Starset put on an amazing show. I love how they mix the old in with the new. Just wish they would play Halo sometimes when in Columbus :) but even though they didn't I still love everything I do get to hear.

  • Amazing

by Dave on 11/4/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

STARSET concert was absolutely amazing! Best I've ever been to.

  • Starset was fantastic, Express Live was not

by Music Fan on 11/4/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 1 out of 5

I paid for premium seats at Express Live. Seat 1, row 1. Severely obstructed view. Would never have paid extra money for that seat had that information been shared. Spoke to a manager, she said there was nothing they could do. Entire row of box seats in front of the “premium seats” went unused. I get it, I didn’t pay for box seats, but I also didn’t pay for an obstructed view. Express Live and Ticketmaster need to work together to report obstructed view seats. Good money wasted.

  • Starset Rocks

by Josh on 11/4/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show from one of my favorite bands! Got to take one of my best friends with me and we even got to meet one of the openers, A Brilliant Lie. Can’t wait to see Starset whenever they come back home to play again.
