  • The first Demonstration

by Jimmy on 4/9/24Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

T'was absolutely one of, if not THE, best concerts I've even been to. The whole show was just them. No openers. No warm up acts. The whole band sounded great. Set list was awesome. Was a little bummed they didn't play a couple songs I was hoping for, but the songs they did play were excellent. The smoke detectors went off about 5 times during the show, and when they went off the sound completely cut and the lights came on. This was not the bands fault at all. The lucky thing is it almost always happened at the end of the songs, so the crowd just sang the last couple lines and Dustin really got into it. It only happened once during a song, and Dustin came out and talked to the crowd for a bit and asked if we wanted the band to restart the song or move on. The "demonstration"part of the show was really good. I found myself getting sucked into the story they were telling. All in all, I honestly cannot think of anything that I didn't just absolutely enjoy about the whole show.

  • Great band, but bad venue

by Eclipse on 4/9/24Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Even though the show was stopped 4 to 5 times due to venue issues, Starset was awesome. I would definitely see them again. They give such a great and unique performance. The venue did not open in time which caused a long line and a late start to the show. Once I was inside, it seemed that the venue overbooked this show. Like my title states, great band, but a bad venue.

  • Absolutely Amazing

Cannot put into words the lights and choreography timing, They are among the best in my very honest opinion, Don’t miss them! Because you will in the end!

  • Fantastic experience

by Warbarick on 6/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I loved the fact that they mesh flawlessly their very heavy music with their graphics Lazer and light shows

  • Great show

We loved seeing the show at House of Blues. It's a great venue!

  • Outta this world!

by Lulu on 7/21/22Mercury Ballroom - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was amazing. From someone who has watched this band evolve over the years. Every moment of this show was a blast. Loved the venue and opening artists as well.

  • Amazing

  • Starset Mercury Ballroom Louisville

by Adele on 7/18/22Mercury Ballroom - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great show experience! People were really excited, able to get a meet & greet with the band, wasn't too hot, all the lights were bright and added great value. Smoke machines actually set off fire alarms at one point, but did not stop the show

  • A Dream Come True

by Taylor on 7/16/22Mercury Ballroom - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was everything I thought it was going to be and more, the band were super friendly and welcoming during the VIP event, the show was fantastic! I cannot wait to see them again!

  • Great Artists and Great Energy

by Icarus on 7/12/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 3 out of 5

I loved the experience, probably one of the best concerts I had been to recently! I was very impressed by the lively, almost mordern energy Oni brought to the stage - they were enjoying themselves, smiling, having a genuinely good time performing for the audience - which was then offset by a more traditional and passionate performance by Red; complete with guitar picks littering the audience, front seat splash zones attested by the empty water bottles thrown into a frenzied crowd. It was absolutely magical. And then Starset came on and I fell in love with the band all over again. I didn't think they would play Earthrise and once they did it nearly brought me to my knees with emotion, though my eyes definitely made up for that. I think the only thing that I could say that diminished the experience was that at one point, a wheelchair was brought all the way to the front and it caused havoc within the crowd. It also took away from some of the enjoyment because what was already a small space filled with a bunch of bodies was made almost worse with the addition of the wheelchair. Other than that, I adored it, sorta wish that Dustin's voice didn't sound so mechanical and soft from the mixing - some of the instruments drowned out his voice even being at least 15 to 20 feet from the stage. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I can't wait to see Starset again in the future!!

  • AMAZING SHOW!!!!

    by C.R. on 7/12/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

All three openers were incredible and STARSET exceeded expectations! It was one of the best shows I've been to. Packard Music Hall left a lot to be desired. There was minimal security and the seats were tiny. We were packed in like sardines. The music though....the music was outstanding!!

  • Excellence!

by Mark on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

The sound mix was great and volume level was not too loud to be distorted. Starset lead singer's voice was right on the mark. Nice smallish venue added to the intimacy. Lots of cool special effects and large-screen videos added to the theatrical experience. Cellist and violinist were excellent. Lots of fog and lasers. Really nice experience.

  • Great show

by Chrissy on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

Every band was awesome!!! I specifically went to see Red, but was very impressed with all the other bands. Starset had an amazing light show! I loved every minute of it and had a blast!

  • Starset is amazing

by rtk on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

I was a little worried headed into Starset. The 3 opening bands were a little difficult to understand and hear parts of due to the amount of bass vibrating throughout the venue. Songs I knew were very difficult to pick out even in full swing. That was not the case for Starset. The mix was great, the band was tight and very engaging. It was an amazing "demonstration" and I cant wait to see them again

  • Money's worth

by Ty on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

Starset had three opening bands. Was at the concert for about 4 hours and loved all of it.

  • Exhilarating

by VerbalProfit on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

They have 3 openers, so even if you arrive early you have fun listening to live music. Once Starset comes on, the show ends and the performance begins. Costumes, light show, engagement with the crowd. An incredible experience.

  • Starset was great

by Josh V on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was so so. The volume was cranked up way to high for the opening bands. The seats are too old to be sitting in for 3 or 4 hours. Starset was great

  • Great concert... for the most part

by Cathy C on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 4 out of 5

We got there slightly late so didn't get to hear all of the Divide The Fall set. They were ok, not great. Oni was a very talented group, for the most part. Red absolutely KILLED IT! Best performance, by far! Startset had a great stage presence. The "show" was awesome. Lasers, lights, and everything in between. The singer seemed to be having an off night (according to my son who had seen them on prior performances) but other than that, they were quite good. Venue was good. Sound was not fabulous but that sometimes happens in the smaller, less known venues. Over all, I give it a B+

  • They never disappoint

by Lori B on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

I have been listening to Starset since they first released Transmissions in 2014. I have to say, that is an amazing album yet every new release gets better and better. This was my second time attending a 'demonstration' and they again did not disappoint. Starset is on my list of bands that i will ALWAYS go see when they come to town. And you should too because they put on an amazing, immersive show. You won't regret it!

  • Just go for yourself

by Josh on 7/11/22Packard Music Hall - WarrenRating: 5 out of 5

I cannot describe with words how much fun this concert was. My only complaint was that I was half deaf from Oni and Red (they were awesome too though!). By the time Starset took the stage I couldn't quite hear Dustin's vocals as best as I wanted (thankfully the few short recordings I have fully captured his vocals). The lights, the sound, the costumes. And most importantly: the songs. Hearing the pianist live for monster, the ambiance for let it die, and my personal favorite performance from Starset that night: Icarus with Dustin's vocal range? Being able to hear it despite my hearing begging me to step out up to that point? All I can say in short: it was incredible. I cannot say enough good about the experience overall. Go for yourself.
