There are many types of Jews...
by DrCLen255 on 1/6/15Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleI enjoyed this show very much. Two of the actors were extremely talented, with great voices, one actor was adequate, and one actress (Gardner) should have been played by another actress. I related to a lot of the experiences of the "famous" Jews: Gloria Steinem with a womens' Jewish prayer group; Ruth Bader Ginsburg's memory of being excluded from saying kaddish after her mother died. Stories of feeling excluded from various aspects of Judaism: if one was gay, a woman, etc. I related to many of these from personal feelings and experiences in my life (I am turning 60 soon...). The message: if one doesn't fit the exact "mold" of the typical family, one must find a different way to find meaning in being a Jew.
