Stars Of David Tickets

I enjoyed this show very much. Two of the actors were extremely talented, with great voices, one actor was adequate, and one actress (Gardner) should have been played by another actress. I related to a lot of the experiences of the "famous" Jews: Gloria Steinem with a womens' Jewish prayer group; Ruth Bader Ginsburg's memory of being excluded from saying kaddish after her mother died. Stories of feeling excluded from various aspects of Judaism: if one was gay, a woman, etc. I related to many of these from personal feelings and experiences in my life (I am turning 60 soon...). The message: if one doesn't fit the exact "mold" of the typical family, one must find a different way to find meaning in being a Jew.

The combined talents of the four players were most enjoyable! Their talents brought everything to life. The material was fresh and intelligent; paying homage to the varied talents of Jewish performers, writers and composers. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment!! Bravo!!

Had different expectations about this show so was disappointed that it was just a compilation of music of specially written songs.

What a wonderful experience we had going to see the Stars of David. The singing vignettes were perfect especially the one on Fran Drescher, the Nanny. Being Jewish really enlightened me about so many other celebrities that have the same feelings that I do about this wonderful religion of ours. Go see the show...you won't be disappointed...you will be delighted!

Excellent mashup of Jewish celebrities. Well delivered by seasoned pros. Something funny, tender, memorable or annoying in each treatment. Thoroughly enjoyable.

The music, messages, and ideas were provocative and inspiring. A beautiful show! Every modern Jew should see it!

I walked out in the middle. The concept of singing songs about a few selected jewish personalities is strained. I could not understand a word of what one of the female singers was singing. The production was minimalistic. I was disappointed.
