This was incredibly fun. The conductor told us at the beginning to be noisy and reactive to what we were seeing on screen, which led to many boos when Darth Vader first appeared on screen and a big WHOOP and lots of cheering when the Death Star blew up. I had a blast and have already bought my ticket for the next one. Highly recommend!!
Excellent music and sound, loved the performance!! Took photos with the characters in costume which was awesome!!
The score of this movie is so incredible and to have it in the forefront like this was amazing. I didn't realize that only about 20% of the movie is dialogue only, the other 80% has music. The orchestra was amazing and it was so inspiring to hear the familiar refrains played live. The conductor did a great job of giving us permission to cheer and boo and there was much cheering each time a new main character come on screen or the iconic phrases were spoken for the first time. I felt sorry for those who left early to best the crowds the music during the credits was the best of the entire show and I had goosebumps listening to it. My advice...do not leave early!
Amazing to see a movie that you watched when it originally came out in 1977 again after so many years in this format with my adult kids.
The event was so much fun! I loved that you could get photos with cosplay artists before the show! It was great that we could bring our drinks & treats in with us! Seeing as the movie was playing behind the symphony it would be kinda fun if there could be popcorn offered as a snack too!
It was an out of this world experience!! Especially with the orchestra, they were on point! OUTSTANDING!!
First Star Wars movie my kiddo has seen. What a great way to experience it. Hope they do all the movies like this.
Really awesome. Gave me goosebumps. I’m a bit of a musician and was blown away by the talent and skill of the orchestra. So many details that I never heard in the actual movie. Got tickets already for the January show. Would recommend. Seating … was like on an airplane… no leg room at all. 😢
watching the movie while listening to the ESO play was amazing. Totally enjoyed and can't wait until next year for the next installment.
It was a real pleasure to hear the orchestra play to one of my favorite movies. The crowd was amazing, which only added to the experience.
