Always love this event. Family friendly, God revering , great fun for everyone.
It was decent, thought it was gonna be longer. Wish they would have announced the winners of the different competitions. Left there thinking it was okay but dont if ill go back
First time going to the rodeo!! Let me say I was amazed. It was a great overall experience! Maybe a little more bull riding and broncs. Need some more barrel racers!!
Sets very crowded. Not made for long legs. Rider's couldn't rope very well. All in all they need a lot of practice. Not what we expected. We have seen better professional rider's. Sorry, but that is what was seen out of our eyes. Thanks for the efforts.
a wonderful experience, total fun for children and adults I recommend it 100% my family and I were very satisfied we enjoyed
The event was alright, but there were some things that could have been better. Firstly, the rodeo clown and announcer were like the main event. Not to insult them, but I thought it would be 25% clown, 75% rodeo and it ended up being the clown most of the time. I did not care to pay to see that. They were even doing jokes while the roping contestants were trying to start and it was very distracting. There were very few contestants in each event and it looked like maybe they over promised and underdelivered. Maybe they didn't have enough entries? Also, the sound system in the venue is awful and is in dire need of updating. They still played the music super loud. That would have been fine if the sound quality was good, but the sound was awful and just made it noisy. The venue also had the worst seats. Very uncomfortable and hardly any room between each row. Our knees were at the backs of the heads of the row in front of us and the people had to sit forward. For reference, I am 5'3" so I don't think foot room should have been an issue for me. Overall, the concept was good, but the delivery was quite lacking. I've been to better rodeos at the county fairs were I grew up. I hope maybe next years will be better as it would be so nice to have a good rodeo locally.
The rodeo in Salem was a way to experience a beautiful drive. We stayed in one of the local hotels. We were pleasantly surprised to see the venue didn’t charge for parking. The presence of security made us feel safe. The athletes and livestock were impressive; wonderful blend of elegance, strength, speed, agility, and grace.
We came to see the rodeo. We got very little rodeo action, and lots of offensive and demeaning jokes. The tickets were fairly expensive and it was disappointing to spend the majority of the time listening to bad jokes and blaring music. The was a great deal of effort put into getting the audience to participate. It would have been better to have just announced who the participants were and let us watch the athletes in peace.
It was tremendous fun for the children that have never been to a rodeo before, but left me a little disappointed and was expecting a bit more. Music drowned out the man speaking. Honestly I feel like the children will be bored if we go back again and there isn’t more to the show like horse riders doing stunts on the horses and such
The stampede rodeo was a fun time. Enjoyed by both the kids and adults! We would definitely attend another one
Was a nice little rodeo . Was a lot of wasted time. Would have liked to have seen more cowboys and cowgirls
Rodeo part was great. I didn’t like the side show part. Also back ground music was the same volume as announcer so you couldn’t hear what he was saying The clown really took away from the rodeo show
Overall experience was good. Seating was a bit cramped and seating available down low closer to the arena would have been nice.
Kids had a blast and mom and dad did also. Its good to get the kids heads away from the electronics and this was a good outing for us. The clown keep the kids laughing and smiling. The interaction between the anouncer and the clown was entertaining. All around enjoyed evening with my wife and kids. Looking forward to attending the next one.
Lucky to get a parking place close by even though the lines were horrendous for parking. Lot needs to be managed better. Also long lines for food and drink - we missed half the rodeo waiting in line. Either more stations or more servers. Rodeo sound system was echoey, so sometimes hard to hear. Wish announcer would have announced names and home of riders more than once, often missed who it was. Also times needed to be announced as it was hard to hear how riders did. Great family fun. Segments were short enough not to get too boring. Lots of different activities. Would highly recommend to others.
Loved every minute of it. My favorite part was Mike the clown. He was hilarious! Enjoyed watching the children ride the sheep. It was the first time for my friend and she thoroughly enjoyed everything.
This rodeo provided clean, family fun. The Bug Busters were so cute. The participants in all the divisions were in it to win it.
Paid $40 for each seat and it was not worth it at all. Practically sitting on top of the person that was beside me. Way too much money for something that was not good. The only good part was the clown the Broncs the bulls nothing was good.
Non stop fun and excitement. Definitely a good time for the entire family.
