Stimulated me!

While fanboy (or girl) shows have their place, and building up to a crescendo might be a strategy, it was clear that the bands had a different game plan- declare that you came to rock from song 1, and don't let up. Admittedly, I wasn't there for Halestorm, and they did what I expected- end on their most popular track. Shinedown mixed up their setlist with released and album trks, but not in a set order i liked. Chevelle did the same, but in a better order, although w. less songs from the later albums as some would of liked. But Staind's setlist was extremely well done- beginning and ending w. 'Dysfunction' trks. The crowd only found cause to wave lighters once (thank Jeebus). Aaron Lewis came down to a stage in the crowd for an acoustic encore, and simply strummed through several sections while the (surprisingly good sounding) crowd carried the songs. Incredible. Needless to say, I lost my voice. Wonderful time!
