I enjoyed most of it....The parking was in the dirt and grass and a far walk....The bathrooms were much to far away from the venue... I did enjoy the headliners..Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, and Rascal Flats... Next time I would go to the other stages, where there was shade... I did not like being searched, but it is for security so I understand
This event is so well organized despite the tons of people. Easy parking, directions, etc. K.D. Lang herself was worth the pricey($175) admission but all the entertainment was great! Also great food!
We have attended the Stagecoach Country Music Festival every year since the first one. This year, it was not as good as last year, or any previous years. It seems to be getting worse each year. There was plenty of help parking before it started, but a complete joke at the end of the night - No one there to help direct traffic out of the parking lots. There were four large parking lots dumping out onto a small dirt road with no staff directing traffic. We sat in the same spot for 45 minutes before moving one car length. As far as the music is concerned, the biggest disappointment was Kenny Chesney. His performance was terrible. (we have seen him several times before) He didn't seem to be "in to it" while on stage. He seemed to put out minimal effort to sing and perform. We did not go back on Sunday (a first for us), and we are not sure if we will return next year.
Stagecoach was great, artist line-up was great, weather was great! Amount of people/tickets sold was not so great (60,000+), enough water stations provided was not so great and amount of staff on had was not so great. Over all this was a great event and I will attend next year!
Darius Rucker, Josh Turner and Kenny Chesney were amazing! It was a lot of fun to people watch. There were a lot of beautiful men and women in awesome shape! There were guys in speedos, girls in bikinis and some people even walked around in costume! It was a lot of fun taking pics with all these people! The only thing I would suggest is to load up on booze before you go into the concert....the drinks were super expensive!
2011 my first time going to Stagecoach. I will go every year from now on! It was so awesome being able to experience a large number of great singers, entertainers and groups. And all the people there working the event were curteous and helpful. People attending the event were a good group. Well behaved and just enjoying the music.
I thought the event was good; however I would suggest that handcap should be let in earlier and have special sitting.
I can say that I have been to Stagecoach, but don't think I'll add it to the list of things to do each year. I was unprepared for the number of people and the dirt to get to the venue. For not allowing any food and liquor in, the liqour sure found its way past security. And smoking was everywhere, tho smoking areas were set up. If they had two main stages next to one another, so the lag time between performances would be decreased, would be helpful. Once we made it to our area you didn't want to leave to visit another stage.
I thought the first night was okay. Darius was definitely the best. Kenny came off as a little flat. The second night was amazing though. I will never forget Carrie or when Rascal Flatts announced that Osama Bin Laden had been killed. Most American night of my life and great musical performances for sure.
Had a great time. Saturdays lineup was pretty light compared to past years.
Stagecoach is always a fun event and this year was no exception. My only complaint was the sound. This year's event was very hard to hear no matter where you moved. Next year, please add more speakers and video monitors.
The sound for Kenny Chesney was very poor. A few more big screens and speakers would have made the event better.
I love Stagecoach! I went last year and this year definitely lived up to my expectations. The acts were awesome, the people who go are SO nice and friendly and helpful, and the weather was perfect. I do have two things that I wished were done differently. 1) The lineup- I hate when they have headliners on multiple stages play at the same time. That's the point of having multiple stages, but at least give us the option to stage-hop and see a little bit of everyone. 2) No taxis!!! If you're going to go, spend the extra $$ for a shuttle and never depend on a taxi. We didnt see one all weekend, every time we called the companies we got busy signals or flat out "no, I dont have time to pick you up". Luckily we were offered rides by other Stagecoach-attendees, so we werent left stranded.
It was great! I'm planning on going every year. The toughest part is trying to get good seats.
I had never been to a country music concert, and I'm already planning my trip to stagecoach next year! The artist were all phenomenal, the ambiance was just so much fun, and the other activities all made it such an unforgettable event.
Im not a big country fun but i love stagecoach the thing is just awesome wish i could make next years but ill be back and be there the year after
StageCoach is always awesome.. Keep bringing the big names out.. We love them and enjoyed all the food and ferris wheel and other enterntainment. Will definatly be there next year and every year after. :))))
To sum it up FANTASTIC!! But beer does need to be cheeper
Entire weekend was amazing. The crowd was fantastic and appropriate for all ages. The entertainment did not dissapoint. Can't wait for next year!
Its a amazing time, drinking by the rv's watching the country music ,and chillin. Lots of yummy food. Only bad thing was the ticket situation , they need wristbands
