My friends and I made the trek out to Royale for the concert in the middle of a snow storm only to have them start playing an hour and forty-five minutes late. Unacceptable and very unprofessional. I go to tons of shows and this was a huge disappointment.

ST. LUCIA ON TOUR
St. Lucia is back with their third LP Hyperion, out September 21st. Their new single "Walking Away" is out now. The band has appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Good Morning America and Late Night With Seth Meyers, performed at festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball Outside Lands, and Bonnaroo, and provided official remixes for artists ranging from Lady Gaga to Passion Pit to Foster The People. As Jason Bentley from KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic put it, "This should be the biggest band in the world right now."
Throughout their career, St. Lucia has brought many famous venues to capacity, like Varsity Theater (Minneapolis), Theatre of Living Arts (Philadelphia) and Buckhead Theatre (Atlanta).

St. Lucia was great as usual!
by Vyxun on 1/23/14Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5The whole show was just absolutely fun beyond words. Really appreciated everyone performing as hard as they could despite technical and physical difficulties. The opener was absolutely stellar as well.
Just fantastic.
by Nafty on 1/22/14Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5St Lucia live are absolutely excellent. Jean-Phillip's choir/professionally trained voice emanates throughout the room , as he nails every note. The band is awesome, he's awesome, and the music's even better. Also doesnt hurt that the bowery ballroom is the venue in the world. No, seriously, the world.

This was the final night of 4 consecutive sold out concerts with St. Lucia in NYC. St. Lucia only has 1 album under their belt (When The Night) and it is a tremendous ode to the 80s synth pop-rock sound; this transcended in their live show very well. Energy was high, the crowd was incredibly engaged and St. Lucia filled the Bowery Ballroom with beautiful yet fun tropical, dance tunes for a full 75 minutes!

St. Lucia puts on an amazing live performance. They engage with the crowd and in this case, the Brooklyn based band got a lot of excitement out of a New York audience.
These guys are going to be big!!
by NRDMD on 1/21/14Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5We first saw these guys open for Young the Giant last year and liked their sound. Amazing how much they progressed in 18 months!! Have a feeling it's going to be hard to see them up so close by next year when they get even bigger. Awesome show!
AMAZING
by brunoyo on 5/28/13city hall - bostonRating: 5 out of 5I saw them at boston calling this past weekend, the first music festival for boston and St. Lucia rocked! Even in 50 degree weather and rainy everyone had a great time and they seemed to enjoy it as well! Highly recommend anyone to go and see them!
Awesome show!
by Zach456 on 12/11/12Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5I absolutely love this band. They are awesome live and are a six piece at some points. This crowd was particularly awesome and most people knew all of the words - which is great because I don't even know that many people who have heard of the band (I doubt that will remain true for long though after seeing how much their follower base has grown in less than a year). They also played a few songs that I have never heard before which was awesome because I was only expecting the St Lucia EP and September. My only complaint is that they finished with September which is their worst song imo.
Ghost Beach was amazing
