Squeeze, led by the songwriting duo of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, produced some of the catchiest songs from the ‘70s British new wave scene. The band’s 1978 self-titled debut and follow-up albums Cool for Cats (1979) and Argybargy (1980) produced a number of hits in the U.K., with a few receiving airplay on U.S. college radio, including “Take Me I'm Yours,” “Up the Junction” and the bouncy “Pulling Mussels (From the Shell).” In 1981, Squeeze released their fourth studio album East Side Story, featuring “Tempted.” The song went on to become one of the band’s most famous songs. It has been featured in movies, TV shows, video games and commercials.

Great concert. Both bands played all the favorite songs. The sound was good. I just wished they played longer
They were great, I greatly enjoyed how they stretched out the arraignments to breathe new life into them. Psychadelic furs were great too!
I see Squeeze pretty much whenever they come around. Over 40 years of shows and they deliver every single time. Glenn's voice has held up well and the band, as always, is terrific. Radio City was rocking.
The combination of Squeeze and The Psychedelic Furs may not seem like an ideal match, but it was nothing short of perfection. Both bands flawlessly showcased their fantastic catalog of songs, making it a night to remember.
The Psychedelic Furs were just great! Thoroughly enjoyed them. But SQUEEZE! Blew the room away. Hit after hit! Some of the greatest song lyrics! And what a band! Incredible. Please come back!!!
Fantastic show. Both bands were awesome! Venue was excellent.
I was honestly there to see The Psychedelic Furs, and I know the music of Squeeze but never considered myself a “fan”. Well let me just say that after seeing them live, I’m definitely a fan!! They sounded amazing! They were so energetic & entertaining. I’ve been to many, many shows over the years & honestly, this is one of the best ever!!!
What a fun night! It’s so fun to go to a concert where you know almost every song they play!
These guys are still awesome!!! They sounded great.
Flew to New York to see The Psychedelic Furs & Squeeze at the Radio City Music Hall. Great venue to see a concert. I am taking a star away for the VIP merch package which included a cheap branded plastic water bottle, a canvas bag and the VIP commemorative plastic badge. In my opinion, there should have been more branded merch in the bag for that price and totally not worth it. Recommendation - please list the contents of the VIP merch package and let consumers decide if it is worth it rather than letting it be a surprise and disappointment.
Stellar, fast paced, effervescent concert. They were on fire. I don’t think Psychedelic Furs is a good opening act, though.
A wonderful show from one of my favorite bands, in a world-famous venue. What's not to like?
Squeeze was good but I went to see The Psychedelic Furs and they were great!!!!
Excellent acoustics. These bands are both energetic and their sounds were just amazing!!!!
This show was such fun! Attended the show in Albany, NY on 2023-09-07. The band sounded great and both singers voices sounded the same as they did when the songs first came out! Had people up on their feet dancing for most of the show. Even me - for those who know me I am not the 'dance in public or at concerts' kind of girl so when I tell you I did - that is an indicator of just how much fun the show was! So glad I finally was able to see them! Great, great show ! I do have one small complaint: they changed the tempo of Tempted. They played it faster than the original and I did sing along but I would have liked to have heard it the way I was expecting. But this in no way impacted my enjoyment of the show! The band was fabulous, especially the keyboard player - he was really into it and I loved watching him! The show also featured the Psychedelic Furs! Richard Butler's voice is just as strong as it was when their first album debuted. Every single member of the band put on a good show and you could tell Richard was having a great time! If you have a chance to go to this show - DO IT! It was so worth the time and money.
This double bill showcased two talented and very different bands. The Furs came on first, and Butler's voice is still in very good shape, however their set felt overlong, as many of their songs sound the same. Entertaining but could have been more effective in 40 minutes. Squeeze was a delight, performing a tight, hit-filled set. It's clear they deserve to be headliners, with Difford and Tillbrook heading a talented group of musicians who clearly were having a good time backing up this legendary songwriting duo. All that and Tillbrook as a virtuoso on the guitar, keeping the excitement and pace moving with difficult and energetic solos. I haven't felt that happy at a concert in many years!
Squeeze, never disappoints! We had a wonderful time at the concert, and almost drove to see the show on the next night!!!
Awesome 80s all over again the furs were dynamite Richard Butler and the group played all the hits and some not so familiar plenty of lights and smoke and energy we were all singing along Then Squeeze the energy didn't stop they played a long set of there catalog and we continued to sing along standing up at every hit they sang a definate success to both groups in a packed house
I went to see Psychedelic Furs. The Furs were amazing. Squeeze was very good with some very talented musicians. Great concert.
The concert featuring the Psychedelic Furs and Squeeze was excellent.
