I was more interested in hearing Jonathan Butler, who was phenomenal!!! However, Spyro Gyra who was good, played beyond their allotted time by 15-20 mins, which pushed backed Butler's performance by over 30mins...I had to travel a long distance, so I had to leave early, therefore missing a lot of Butler's performance...that was very disappointing.!

Rating: 3 out of 5by Patrice10 on 3/26/10Nokia Theatre Times Square - New York Rating: 5 out of 5 Great show!
by Ezurlie on 3/26/10Nokia Theatre Times Square - New YorkI took my daughter tp see a great show as I wanted her to hear how real instruments are supposed to be played and sound. She plays the flute and sax, and has now got a violin and she spoke to them about it. It was great, and a nice mixed audience, all ages and races.

by Leo47 on 3/17/10Jazz Alley - SeattleThis guy's are true musicians. They all write music. The show was incredible. You can tell that they have been together for a long time. They sound great together and when they do solos. Thank you for the great show and beautiful sound.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Spyro Gyra- not just biology
by uswgjp01 on 3/13/10Jazz Alley - SeattleAll the musicians have perfected their craft, even the bass player stole the show for a while. Got to see one of my sax playing heroes from my HS days, Jay Beckenstein.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Every Performer was excellent!
by Brittshe on 10/13/09The Plateau at National Harbor - National HarboriT was a shame because I know the promoter of this fablous event lost a lot of money. It was a little chill but the heat was on with the wonderful performance by all the bands! And, to have to pay only $35.00 to see and hear these great musicans was unreal! I would suggest a little earlier in the latter part of September but if not held until October, I will be there next year! It was GREAT!
Rating: 5 out of 5 All the band was outstanding!!!
by Iluv2walk on 10/13/09The Plateau at National Harbor - National HarborAll the bands played excellent, The only things I was disappointed is the word did not get out enough. The adveristment for this event was not adveristed to it's fullest because of that it was not a good turnout, which a lot of people missed the amazing performers!!!
Rating: 4 out of 5 excellent line up of true talent
by enice on 10/13/09The Plateau at National Harbor - National HarborIt was great ! How could it not be with such an amazing group of talent. Art Sherrrod, Jazz Boyz, Alex it was amazing. I wish they would have advertised better DMV missed out on such an execellent show and for the price it was a steal. I would go again. It was cold try it in August or September.
Rating: 3 out of 5 jazz festival at National Harbor
by Mobry on 10/12/09The Plateau at National Harbor - National HarborAll of the acts were excellent, but the venue was not. They need to either invest in a tent or have portable heaters. Also, the event was not well attended; perhaps more advertising is needed!
Rating: 5 out of 5 One of the Best
by PWTOWT on 10/11/09The Plateau at National Harbor - National HarborThis was one of the best Smooth jazz shows I seen in a while, I wish it was a little earlier in the year around Septmber Or August. The place was great over looking the water.
Rating: 5 out of 5 The whole show was great!!!
by Shoez on 10/11/09The Plateau at National Harbor - National HarborI couldn't believe the type of entertainment that was provided for the price in the Baltimore area. There were several artist that I had never seen or heard of, Drew Davidsen, Jazz Boyz and Eric Marner, but you can best believe that I will be looking forward to seeing/supporting them in the future. I will be adding this festival to the list of festivals that I attend every year. I just hope that they continue to hold the show in October or late September so it doesn't conflict with the other jazz festivals I attend during the year. The Shortcake Entertainment group did a fantastic job putting the show together. I look forward to supporting them in their future endeavors.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Superb Spyro Gyra concert as usual!!!
by DW7024 on 7/20/09Atlantic City Hilton - Atlantic CityThe concert was at the Atlantic City Hilton and the acoustics were awesome! The sound engineers were right on! And the room wasn't too large but yet not too small! Another great venue at Atlantic City! OK, enough props for A.C. Spyro Gyra was great once again! They always put on a great show! Each of the guys had their solo moments and they were ALL good! And they played everything from the early days to their newest CD. It was ALL good! Thanks Spyro for all the years and music!
