I thought Phil Vassar was great!! KC Sunshine band not so good. Cheap Trick, sucked didn't even stay passed an hour. I would go to this event again, hopefully better bands.

    Boring event

by Aprilmaejune on 8/7/17Otsiningo Park - Binghamton

Went to see Hot Air Balloons, but there were none. Many vendors with junk to sell and fried foods. Not what I thought it would be. Blue Oyster Cult could have been enjoyable but many people where smoking cigarettes. Couldn't take the smell.

    Binghamton's Best

by deadtrekker on 8/7/17Otsiningo Park - Binghamton

The 2017 Spiediefest was a great concert event. Dennis DeYoung, Blue Oyster Cult, Eddie Money, Kellie Pickler, and Sarah Evans all performed excellent sets. The shuttle buses all moved along quickly, and there were plenty ofother attractions and food.Only downside was balloon launch took place during the concert, so you have to choose.Other than that, nicely done event.

Rick Springfield can still rock and he's still hot

    by Schdy54 on 8/8/16Otsiningo Park - Binghamton

I had spent 22 hours (airline disasters) getting to this concert because I had seen him last year at the state fair in Syracuse and then drove 13 hours to see him with my 16 year old daughter who is also now a fan to Norfolk Virginia last month. I wasn't missing him 2 hours from my home . Though I was a half an hour late , I was again transplanted to the 80s, 90s, and today with his new album (awesome ) music. But more than the music, I love to see Rick do what he loves so much - connecting with his fans through the music he has written. It's from his life and you can see the joy he gets when the audience reacts to the songs with screaming , singing and dancing . It you think that Rick Springfield is some old has-been , you are wrong! At 66 (67 on Aug 23) he can put on a better show than most . And that energy! You have to go see an RS show and buy his new album! He needs to be back on the radio and music charts. . Only negative was that we had bought early bird tickets so we thought we had reserved seats but everyone we talked to had no idea what these $25 plus tickets were and I couldn't see any seats at all. I'm sure it would have been more obvious if I had been there earlier ( thanks Amer Airlines). But after all the emotional turmoil .lack of sleep and intense effort , I wiggled my way to maybe the 7th row of the crowd . I couldn't stop smiling ! And I wasn't alone!

    Overall Awesome Event

by orangestreak on 8/5/15Otsiningo Park - Binghamton

Colbie Caillat, Christina Perri and Rachel Platten were excellent. The carnival atmosphere made it more enjoyable. The best part was the Christina Perri meet and greet. She is so gracious to her fans. If you live near one of the remaining shows, I'd definitely recommend going. You won't be disappointed.

    Kristian Bush was amazing!

by Jeatle on 8/6/14Otsiningo Park - Binghamton

Kristian was amazing. He is talented, down to earth, can definitely sing, and entertain a crowd. He really played and included the crowd in his performance and gave history on Sugarland songs, but his own and new released music. He is truly talented. Everyone should go see him.
