I went on New Years Eve. The music was all 80s party music and almost everyone was dancing. The package included hors d'eouvres, which were dissappointing, a swag bag, which did not appear. The full bar was included, and had all of the usual party drinks available.
What an awesome show and a great time ringing in the New Year. The Spazmatics were awesome! Any wait to see them again.
The Spazmatics are a fun 80's tribute band that dresses like nerds, tongue-in-cheek take on their performance and sure know how to party! The group as they were supercharged with excellent musicians supporting the lead singer's explosive energy. South Point is an impressive place to have fun, party, dance and have tasty food.
The music was good and the venue big enough but the drink service was slow and lacking. The food was limited to meatballs and shrimp. Had to wait in line up to 30 minutes for a beverage. Poor service
I think the drinks should be better organized, I didn't even want to get close to the champagne table. But the band was so much fun! I wish there was more 80's bands/shows/bars around! We'll probably do it again next year if they're around, and will probably see 'em a few times this year.
NYE with the Spazmatics was amazing. 3 straight hours of dancing to hit after hit after hit. Well done.
Excellent music, will definitely go back again. And anybody who enjoy 80’s music will be happy to spend New Year’s Eve listening to this band :)
The band are good musicians with songs that are fun to sing along to from the 80s. An entertaining fun show that I would see again.
We attend this show 5-6 times a year. Always fantastic. They have so much energy. Highly recommend if you love the 80’s.
They put on a great energetic concert full of 80’s music hits! This is the 2nd time we have seen this group in Vegas! However, we can do without Corky’s over the top raunchy comments and gestures! The band/show would be all the better for it!
They are a bowl of fun! The lead dancer has energy of a teenager. I really enjoyed them and will see them again.
Spazmatics were always the top value of any entertainment in Vegas - $10 to $0 tickets at the various venues at which they perform. I have described them to many friends as the best time you could have that is not illegal, immoral or fattening. But things had tamed down somewhat and (for a brief time) a new lead singer took over for the multi-and extremely talented Paul Johnson. But Paul is back now, bringing with him a very hot new guitarist (don't know the name, they are all stage names except his). But the energy is way up, one of the most rocking times out of the 20 or so performances we have seen. Hopefully the lineup stays exactly the way it was on October 14th at the Southpoint Casino. Superb - would give it 10 stars if I could.
We have seen the Spazmatics in Las Vegas about 20 times. There are regulars who have seem them many more times. But something was missing - their insanely talented lead singer. We know the Spazmatics are a "franchise"band - there are franchisees in many cities. And they are supposed to have all "plug and play"roles. A number of talented persons could be the drummer, lead guitarist or bassist (although Corky is irreplaceably silly). But the lead singer is just that - the lead. if the lead doesn't work, then the rest of the band is impaired. Paul Johnson's soaring tenor and ability to imitate male or female singers, with a graceful athleticism cannot be "plugged in and played"without a loss. We hope his replacement was a temporary thing - lots of missed lyrics (Paul never missed any), vocals limited, stage presence "a step down"- then our time as Spazmatic regulars will be in the rear view mirror. Sad.
Band was great! Live music and super entertaining dancing crowd
The band was good but the 80s music they played were not the top hits you associate with the 80s and many of the songs were not really danceable. Absolutely no Madonna, Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston! Their comedy act was also not very entertaining- better to stick to the music! Overall decent experience for the price and drinks were good and relatively inexpensive!
I love that they threw in Metallica!! It really was amazing! So much fun for girls night

As always the Spazmatics deliver a fun return to the 80s, the era of my youth. Thank you guys for the music, the dancing and the fun. Keep it up. Definitely hope to go as often as I can.
These guys were tons of fun, our group had a blast. Awesome tunes and sounded great. Finally an affordable music venue with a quality band.
We went for fun 80s music and instead got fart jokes and inappropriate comments from the band members on stage about waiting for women to get drunk enough to pass out so they can sleep with them. The fart jokes were constant, not funny, and tiresome. The music may have stood the test of time, but the band did not.
