The venue wasn't so crowded so you have a great view of the show from the left bar (when you get into the venue looking the stage) and was pleasant to enjoy your beer while Max was performing those awesome Sepultura songs he chose to sing.
The show rocked! First time to a real hardrock concert. It was great, the venue was excellent!
The show was great and I was really stoked that Cavalera played some Sepultura as well as some early Soulfly. Prong was impressive I have never really been a fan but their sound was great and I'd definetly see them again The only thing that sucks about the Regency Ballroom is the NO IN AND OUT policy which means your stuck on the side of he building in a smoking section and you can't leave. The Warfield is much more kick back.
Soulfly put on a great show... Played all the great tracks, people were not all rowdy and drunk so it was overall a great show....
On October 4,2009 I attended a Soulfly show at the Regency ballroom in San Francisco and I have to say it was absolutely great. I wouldn't expect less from Max and his fellow band-mates. Standing only one row away from the stage was amazing, feeling a connection between me and the band. They definitely got the crowd moving and I have to say it was one of the greatest experiences in my life and can't wait to see them again.
Soulfly and Prong put on a bangin show!!! I try to see Soulfly every chance they come out here. I never leave disappointed after seeing their show.
Soulfly rocks!
Awesome show!! Rowdy crowd!!
Soulfly brought the extreme thunder last night. We got a good mix of old and new, Soulfly and Sepultura. The only disappointment was the 10:50pm end time... No encore, guys? But all things told, we can forgive. Let the sycophants fall!
Awesome show.
Excellent sound, Max was great as always, glad to see Prong I didn't know they were going to be there. Highly recommended band to see.
