Hey, I’m Sophia!
I’m from New York City. I’ve been writing songs ever since I was a little girl and growing up in Manhattan has certainly allowed for a lot of material. For 2022 my newest single “Love U Only” won the NYSSMA creator competition for songwriter showcase! For 2021 two of my songs called “Valentine” and “Haze” have won the Songwriting award for NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) and my new single called “Was She Worth It” is a semifinalist for the International Songwriting Competition. Songwriting and music are my true loves and I cannot wait for the rest of my music to be heard in my upcoming album. I’m a NYC girl and I write about what I know, whom I love or don’t love, heartbreaks and make-ups, and well you know… I write about getting by and growing up right in the middle of this Big Friggin’ Apple! My songs are my stories and I cannot wait for you all to go on this journey with me!
